What’s up with that logo? Yikes.
That's the deluxe silver foil embossed BS logo 😩 I won't be buying this POS

That orange did catch my attention though

Which silver bumper??

I also ordered this one:

I purchased a backup because I accidentally stepped on the first one and it messed up the shape.

Here’s the current haul (I’m counting 17). I was supposed to limit myself to 4-5 this year—I guess that didn’t work out. 😅

What do you have in your collection? Post a pic if it’s not too much trouble. 😊

Impressive collection. If I want something lightweight and not super bulky that offers some solid grip, but less grip/texture then say the Sheath what’s a good choice?

Tried the Moft and it’s too slippery. The TineeOwl is decent grip wise but kinda too fat for me. Is the Pitaka Edge slightly grippy?

Question about the Edge. Does it have decent grip or is it kinda slippery?
There is some inherent grip around the sides because of the cutouts. Some find the cutouts uncomfortable, but they don’t bother me. The grip of the aramid fiber back depends upon which specific case you’re talking about. The 1500D patterned cases like the Moonrise and Sunset have a nice amount of grip on the back due to the more textured surface. On the other hand, the 600D black/gray version has less texture so consequently it has less grip. The 600D is also much more prone to showing fingerprints.

After prying the paragon off with a crowbar, in the Ridge carbon today.

Could do without the branding on the back but thankfully that’s the only one. Don’t think I would fork over $75 for it but for $23 BB open box it’s easily a good case.
Received my Ridge Carbon today.

I love the case, it is so lightweight (35g) and very slim! The aluminum buttons are very clicky, they do rattle very easily when slightly shaking your phone but that’s not a deal breaker for me.

Here’s my deal breaker though, the fit around the screen shows the silver frame of my phone almost all along the top portion and warps around every area by the buttons. Very poor fit around the screen.

Is yours like that? I’m wondering if I have a bad copy. I’m thinking of ordering another to see as I actually really do like the case but would love to hear your feedback.

I keep trying with these full coverage aramid fiber cases and seem to just keep getting poor fitment around the screen.

I tried this case early on after I got the 17 Pro and loved it, but couldn't justify $75 for it so I returned it to BB. But your mention of the open box price made me go check and sure enough, they had an open box excellent for $25. I can't resist 2/3rds off, so it'll be here on Monday.
Did you receive yours? Wondering if yours fits properly.

I never said anything in terms of quality. I did make sure to say “imo”. I know everyone’s opinion is different. For me a heavier, bulkier case simply feels like a downgrade as it’s not my cup of tea that’s all, just preferences.

Looking forward to your comparison of Sheath vs TO v.2 😉
Do you know of any cases that are like the TineeOwl texture wise but slimmer and lighter? Not named Sheath btw as that’s too grippy for me. I’m still searching. The TO being kinda rounded and curved does feel amazing in hand though.

The Ringke Onyx is a slimmer lighter case with that kind of texture but they have yet to come out with a CC button for it. It’s a shame because it is such a great case and at a good budget price like TO.

I agree the TO’s curved edges do feel nice in hand. I tried it and was pretty impressed with that but after a while of handling it, I felt the weight and heft of the case. The fit and finish of it was really good too. I returned it as it’s just not for me but it is a nice case nonetheless.

Darn it so I’m probably sol. Sorry for a bunch of the bumps and replies to old posts in this thread yall but I’ve yet to find something that I’m happy with lol

If the TO was slightly slimmed down and a handful of grams lighter it’d literally be perfect. Since I own the Pro and not the Max it might be something I could live with since I’m not carrying too much weight. Also if Caudabe still made the Synthesis in black my search would also be over I’d get that. I’m not a fan of that ugly MagSafe ring that looks like a power on/off button 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t disagree, but…

Rumors are they still won’t be offering black. These are the rumored new colors. If true… sheesh.

The Mous Limitless has about the same level of grip, though it’s a different texture. It’s lighter than both the Sheath and TineeOwl, with better drop protection. It’s more squared off on the back, which some people don’t like (it doesn’t bother me). It’s a very well made case, higher quality than both the Sheath and TineeOwl in my opinion.

Thanks I’ll have a look at it

From what I can tell, I do not have the warping around the buttons. You can slightly see the silver frame around the top 1/4 and I noticed this out of the gate, so I don’t think it’s a wearing out over time issue.
To me it is less noticeable than the Techwoven, where more of the silver frame is showing around the whole device.

With how thin and light the case is, good MagSafe, and not terrible with fingerprints, it has been my go to case so far. Personally, I am willing to overlook a very slight imperfection with the fitment for a sub $25 example. Yours sounds maybe worse and worth trying to see if another example would be better, but I doubt would be perfect.
