Not justifying anything for Caudabe or anything, I’m just curious. You said you can’t use it like that with the “butter soft phone”.

You actually think that’s going to mess your phone up if you were to put it in that case because of the slight indent under that felt?

Yes. I’ve seen what ridges/welts can do to a glass back in a drop. Not paying 60 Euro for a hard welts/not properly glued down magnets under my back lining.

I wouldn't either. I don't know what's wrong with Caudabe. When they're done right, they knock it out of the park. But most of the time it feels like they rush them out the door without any QC. I'd hate to see how many returns are in their warehouse right about now. Probably pallets!

The TO DuneX is really worth every penny. Such a cool, nice feeling, well fitting case. Loved it more than I first thought and will stay in my rotation for sure. Can highly recommend it, too. 🙂

That sucks, fingernails even on point for the new case 😉 good luck with Caudabe support. I'm sure they will send you a replacement in a month or so.

It seems as if their QC and CS have not kept pace with their growth. This happens to small companies all the time; they have a growth spurt and their quality control, shipping, and customer service suffer.

I think you hit the nail on the head with that. I agree. I have a Sheath on my 14 and it's perfect; no warps, no defects, no sharp edges or anything. It's all I use. But the one I had before that was a mess. Like I said, it's a roll of the dice.

Isnt that the magsafe magnets?

That's not going to damage the phone, whatever it is. Just use it.

It's not going to damage the phone.

I just double checked – I have a Paragon Precise in black and one in Azurite. On both of them, you can't feel the built-in MagSafe ring at all; nothing sticks out on the inside. I would give it back too.

Nothing like that on my Paragon, but I doubt it would damage in any way.

Since it’s in the place where the magnets are, it could be the glue holding the magnets or the magnets themselves. Hard to say. No way to flatten it. It’s sticking out like a piece of something hard stuck under the lining.

Thanks for the Feedback! Yeah I figured as much. It’s a shame, was really looking forward to it. Let’s see what the support has to say.
