Guess I was lucky with my Sheath and extra buttons. All flawless. But this one… nope.Sadly- it seems to be a problem with Caudabe QC this year.

Not justifying anything for Caudabe or anything, I’m just curious. You said you can’t use it like that with the “butter soft phone”.It has arrived. Very muted in person, not as neon as on the website. Gorgeous and not slippery feeling at all. BUT
The inner lining has rolls or bulges, and not in the „the fabric is bulging“ way. It’s more like the glue hardened under there. Ugh. Can’t use it like that with the butter soft phone. Off to mail support…. Cross your fingers for me.

Anyone else has this problem on their paragon?
Yes. I’ve seen what ridges/welts can do to a glass back in a drop. Not paying 60 Euro for a hard welts/not properly glued down magnets under my back lining. Not justifying anything for Caudabe or anything, I’m just curious. You said you can’t use it like that with the “butter soft phone”.
You actually think that’s going to mess your phone up if you were to put it in that case because of the slight indent under that felt?
I wouldn't either. I don't know what's wrong with Caudabe. When they're done right, they knock it out of the park. But most of the time it feels like they rush them out the door without any QC. I'd hate to see how many returns are in their warehouse right about now. Probably pallets!Yes. I’ve seen what ridges/welts can do to a glass back in a drop. The TO DuneX is really worth every penny. Such a cool, nice feeling, well fitting case. Loved it more than I first thought and will stay in my rotation for sure. Can highly recommend it, too. 🙂Update on the Tineeowl Dune Case from Amazon, simply a joy to use each and everyday. Tight fit and feels amazing in the hand. Continues to be the best case for me in 2026 and will surely last me until I get an 18 Pro Max 🙂
That sucks, fingernails even on point for the new case 😉 good luck with Caudabe support. I'm sure they will send you a replacement in a month or so.It has arrived. Very muted in person, not as neon as on the website. Gorgeous and not slippery feeling at all. BUT

This year? It’s been at least the past 3 years.Sadly- it seems to be a problem with Caudabe QC this year.
It seems as if their QC and CS have not kept pace with their growth. This happens to small companies all the time; they have a growth spurt and their quality control, shipping, and customer service suffer.I wouldn't either. I don't know what's wrong with Caudabe. I think you hit the nail on the head with that. I agree. I have a Sheath on my 14 and it's perfect; no warps, no defects, no sharp edges or anything. It's all I use. But the one I had before that was a mess. Like I said, it's a roll of the dice.It seems as if their QC and CS have not kept pace with their growth. Isnt that the magsafe magnets? It has arrived. Very muted in person, not as neon as on the website. Gorgeous and not slippery feeling at all. BUT

You would accept MagSafe magnets sticking up under the back lining of your 60 Euro case?Isnt that the magsafe magnets?
That's not going to damage the phone, whatever it is. Just use it.

I just double checked – I have a Paragon Precise in black and one in Azurite. On both of them, you can't feel the built-in MagSafe ring at all; nothing sticks out on the inside. I would give it back too.It has arrived. Very muted in person, not as neon as on the website. Gorgeous and not slippery feeling at all. BUT

I thought it was just bunching up of the liner. Are you saying there’s magnets sticking up under the lining? You would accept MagSafe magnets sticking up under the back lining of your 60 Euro case?

Since it’s in the place where the magnets are, it could be the glue holding the magnets or the magnets themselves. Hard to say. No way to flatten it. It’s sticking out like a piece of something hard stuck under the lining. The inner lining has rolls or bulges, and not in the „the fabric is bulging“ way. It’s more like the glue hardened under there.
Thanks for the Feedback! Yeah I figured as much. It’s a shame, was really looking forward to it. Olive Drab. Remember the Magpul cases? They had the OD color way. They were my favorite case for a long run. The Tank sort of reminds me of the Magpul cases in a way.Wonder if Dbrand will ever make the Tank in different colors?
