Wonder if Dbrand will ever make the Tank in different colors?
A little bit of imagination from Google Gemini:Olive Drab. Remember the Magpul cases? They had the OD color way. They were my favorite case for a long run. The Tank sort of reminds me of the Magpul cases in a way.
Yea! Itās called the Tank right?
Told you, not hard at all š¤£I just tried the Paragon on to see if it was really that hard to remove and was prepared for the worst⦠Why are yāall lying, this thing is easier to remove than the Mous, the Tineeowl, the PR Gen 7, and of course the Tank š It slips off the phone by itself basically. Or maybe Iām just used to stubborn cases by now š
Also, yeah it sits below the screen protector in the middle of the phone. The Dbrand Grip is the same in that regard. Feels very nice in the hand though.
Yours sits below the screen protector? Mine is either flush or a hair above.I just tried the Paragon on to see if it was really that hard to remove and was prepared for the worst⦠Why are yāall lying, this thing is easier to remove than the Mous, the Tineeowl, the PR Gen 7, and of course the Tank š It slips off the phone by itself basically. I have the Spigen EZ Fit.
That's what I'm talking about š can you give us the orange version next?
Remember the good ole Magpul? That's what I'm talking about š can you give us the orange version next?
That Tank is way busier than the basic grid pattern of the Magpul, a purposeful design without being overdone.Olive Drab. Remember the Magpul cases? They had the OD color way. They were my favorite case for a long run. The Tank sort of reminds me of the Magpul cases in a way.
Yea of course just saying. That Tank is way busier than the basic grid pattern of the Magpul, a purposeful design without being overdone.
Here you go šThat's what I'm talking about š can you give us the orange version next?
Bellroy sent me a replacement, then refunded me, no returns needed. It seems as if their QC and CS have not kept pace with their growth. This happens to small companies all the time; they have a growth spurt and their quality control, shipping, and customer service suffer.
NopeActually, I think itās not that difficult to do a custom paint job on the Tank, remove buttons, cover CC button with a tape and use a spray can with a color you want š
It could be that itās not seating properly due to the bulging MagSafe magnets, which could make the lip sit lower than normal and make it easily slip off the phone as you described.I just tried the Paragon on to see if it was really that hard to remove and was prepared for the worst⦠Why are yāall lying, this thing is easier to remove than the Mous, the Tineeowl, the PR Gen 7, and of course the Tank š It slips off the phone by itself basically. (I'm still waiting for my Orchid⦠the color looks great in your photos! š)
Yeah, I think youāre right. Weāll see how the replacement fits when it arrives. It could be that itās not seating properly due to the bulging MagSafe magnets, which could make the lip sit lower than normal and make it easily slip off the phone as you described.
I had two Paragons, the first one was Moonstone (which I sold), and the second one is current Midnight Precise, and theyāre both have the same fit. I got them in February. Maybe itās the first batches from 2025 that are ultra hard to remove?Yeah, I think youāre right. Weāll see how the replacement fits when it arrives.
I really hope the new Paragon isn't that hard to remove anymore. Every time I take the case off, I'm expecting to find scratches, and I absolutely hate it. š Thatās actually the reason why I use the Paragon way less than Appleās silicone cases. But the new Paragon color is just so gorgeous...I had two Paragons, the first one was Moonstone (which I sold), and the second one is current Midnight Precise, and theyāre both have the same fit. Always liked Apple silicone cases but I can't use them as they are terrible for getting in and out of my pocket, this is the only year I haven't bothered to try oneI was back at the Apple Store on Saturday. And I just can't walk out of there without buying something. š
So, of course, I ended up getting another silicone case. š«£ Looks really good on the silver PM.
