Okay, what case is currently on your phone right now? Me, Nomad rugged

Marine Limitless today. I love it on the silver. The name is misleading as it’s not really navy and has a slightly green undertone. Like a really dark turquoise. I’ve seen reviews complain that it doesn’t fit the dark blue pro and I agree. It was made for silver.
But it’s also the Color with the most QC issues I guess. I had to return a copy because the fabric on the back was not glued down properly and left a gap. And even this copy is not perfect: the CC button is too sensitive. Not a deal breaker for me though.
The TPU and fabric on this marine are much smoother than on the other two Limitless I have, so it feels nicer to hold. But also a tad more slippery.

Am update on my silver buttons for the Sheath and the fact they aren’t as deep, as those supplied with the case:

After reviewing everything with our product team, I want to share some important context: the 2.5 buttons you received are correct and are our current updated version. About 3 to 4 months ago, we intentionally refined the button design to better mirror the low profile of the iPhone's own buttons. The original buttons protruded more than we wanted, which made them feel sharp when running fingers across the side and a bit too easy to press. The new design keeps things unobtrusive while remaining completely functional, just like the buttons Apple put on the phone itself. The updated buttons fully depress and operate your phone's physical buttons without any issue and functionality is completely unaffected.

Because this change was made relatively recently, it's possible that some older stock with the previous button profile is still out there, which may be why the two versions look and feel noticeably different side by side. What you're seeing is simply the transition between the old and new design, not a mislabeled or defective product.

My Mous case replacement has arrived and of course now it has warped CC button area. 😕
I think I’ll just ask for a refund at this point.

The case itself is nice though..

That’s such a shame… I know having to redesign their whole concept around this new huge camera pleateau opening must have been challenging for some of these companies, but the bad QC is so prevalent now, it’s enraging. There’s no excuse for this. Especially with cases that cost a small fortune.

Did you order from Mous directly?

I’ve got my eye on the Marine myself for my Pro.

Aramid Fiber one came from Amazon, but replacement was sent directly from them.

Exact same crappy response they sent me. Those buttons sit flush with the sides of the Sheath and just plain suck, these are straight facts.

A few months ago, they told me they were having some issues in their manufacturing process, which resulted in incorrectly produced buttons. They said they would send me a replacement, but I had to wait a few weeks for them to be manufactured. In the end, they sent me the exact same incorrectly made buttons that stick out and have a visible “T” shape. But that was for the Paragon, though. Their buttons situation is absolute mess right now.
