Papercut on the iPhone

yesterday I got a replacement for my 16gb black 3g and its edges don't align causing papercuts from the sharp edges. I can't use this junk, going back to the store tonight.

I came back from the apple store, I explained the issue about the sharp edges on the iphone and the apple dude said it happens on the new 3G phones. I told him I don't want the phone if it's going to make paper cuts when I text or operate it. This is not what I bought. He exchanged it for another one, which also had a sharp edge. I said it's unacceptable that they sell such poorly made phones. He said something about the replacement 3G phones being put together manually and hence some come like that. I said I will wait until they get a good phone without the sharp edges and he said he won't keep opening the phones until I get a perfect one. I could not believe what I heard; I asked if there is a way to get a normal phone without the defect, he said he'd try but I would have to wait a few days. I was fine with that.

So this is the story, I am on the 4th phone, 2 out of those have had sharp edges, I'm waiting for a 5th phone and they promised it will be fine.

So you guys keep fighting this lack of qa/qc on apple's part. It seems their products, at least the iPhone 3G are getting worse and worse.
