iPhone 2G would've done better :p

I get that you don't agree with the policy but i personally don't see how this affects Apple, they've already gotten their money seeing as you bought the phone already and you'll still have to pay ETF to AT&T so they also get their money. If anything it costs you more.

PS-Dude is a REALLY fast typer

lol @ people thinking this google voice thing is a big deal. Nobody outside the macrumors forum, and googles headquarters even knows what it is. If this really makes that much of an impact in your life you should probably just go ahead and end it.

money really must not be a problem for this guy. shoots his iphone, and has a $3500 camcorder. whats next? will he shoot his camcorder cuz jvc is using their "iron fist" on him?

Ouch! That was pretty entertaining. Anyone notice it was a 32gb iPhone. I wish I had $300 to just throw away.

Heck, I'm here all the time and even I don't understand it!

I thought it forwarded phone calls to you, but if that's the case you wouldn't need an app at all. It would just forward the call to the phone.

So clearly there's something I don't understand. Point is, if I'm here all the time and I don't even get it, you're right, 99% of regular folks won't have a clue.

umm, google voice is obviously meant for a certain tech crowd. just because you don't know what you're talking about doesn't mean 99% of other people have no idea either.

I can just see the future thread now...

"I am so PO'ed at Apple! I mean, it's their fault that MY iPhone took a few 9mms hits! If they hadn't made me so mad by disapproving GV.... besides, it is supposed to be bulletproof, flameproof, and waterproof, isn't it! Hell yes it is! Stupid 'genius' wouldn't even talk to me about a free replacement...."

...

I bet the guy dropped his 3GS in water, and it died on him. He bought a replacement at Apple (as pointed out, what's money to this dude?) and decided to shoot the old one.

I'm speaking as myself on this one. I could see wanting to shoot up my iphone, just for fun. I wouldn't want to pay for another though.

It takes so much effort and genius to make something like an iphone.

It just takes a retarded ape with no skill whatsoever to destroy one.

Sorry quote one is speculation, and even if Google HQ don't know about, people on the street do.

Second quote, could the reason be that you don't "get it" is maybe Apple did tell you to "get it". If it came from Apple, I bet everyone here would "get it", but because it ain't Apple or there is no equivalent Apple "App for that" commercial all of a sudden people don't "get it".

Sorry, its a pretty simple concept. One number, you give it out, it rings whatever phone you want. Don't want it to ring, go in turn it off. Send telemarketers straight to Voice Mail hell. No one has to know your real number.

well over all

probably make no difference to Apple

it was entertaining good music choice too.

Give him credit nice grouping on the shots.

a 45 would have been one shot on kill.

he should forward the video to Steven Frank with Panic.

coming from the pc world this closed resource Apple likes scares me.

Apple seriously need to come with actual rules for app approvals they show little logic in there selections process.
