I get that you don't agree with the policy but i personally don't see how this affects Apple, they've already gotten their money seeing as you bought the phone already and you'll still have to pay ETF to AT&T so they also get their money. If anything it costs you more.

I bet the guy dropped his 3GS in water, and it died on him. He bought a replacement at Apple (as pointed out, what's money to this dude?) and decided to shoot the old one.

Second quote, could the reason be that you don't "get it" is maybe Apple did tell you to "get it". If it came from Apple, I bet everyone here would "get it", but because it ain't Apple or there is no equivalent Apple "App for that" commercial all of a sudden people don't "get it".
Sorry, its a pretty simple concept. One number, you give it out, it rings whatever phone you want. Don't want it to ring, go in turn it off. Send telemarketers straight to Voice Mail hell. No one has to know your real number.
