probably make no difference to Apple

it was entertaining good music choice too.

Give him credit nice grouping on the shots.

a 45 would have been one shot on kill.

he should forward the video to Steven Frank with Panic.

coming from the pc world this closed resource Apple likes scares me.

Apple seriously need to come with actual rules for app approvals they show little logic in there selections process.

That's because your a true blue American and don"t go for Apple's mantra of "we want to control the user experience" garbage. England wanted to control the American experience, you see what happened there, and history is full of other governments and company's trying to control some experience. True American's scoff at company control "experience". This country was founded on freedom, or at least that what they told me:D.

(I find it strange that so many American Apple fans willing trade their computer freedom for the Apple experience)

Looks like the iPhone stopped some bullets from full penetration.

Well, google voice will be accessible on the web.

Apple did not advertise that iPhone will work with google voice.

The unlimited voice plan doesn't cost too much, so it's just a cheap person trying to save a few bucks.

I mean, really, was that necessary? He could have gave me the phone for FREE!:rolleyes:

Can someone please explain to me how a company competing in the free market is a dictatorship? And how giving your business to MS instead of Apple is showing your 'freedom', if they are both competing in the free market? And is google voice even THAT big of a deal? (if he really wanted it, wouldn't he jailbreak?)

Sorry quote one is speculation, and even if Google HQ don't know about, people on the street do.

Second quote, could the reason be that you don't "get it" is maybe Apple did tell you to "get it". If it came from Apple, I bet everyone here would "get it", but because it ain't Apple or there is no equivalent Apple "App for that" commercial all of a sudden people don't "get it".

Sorry, its a pretty simple concept. One number, you give it out, it rings whatever phone you want. Don't want it to ring, go in turn it off. Send telemarketers straight to Voice Mail hell. No one has to know your real number.

Yeah, everyone here is just a bunch of Apple Zombies. Brains!! Brains!!!

I use GoogleVoice. I've been using it for years (even back when it was still GrandCentral). The GV web app does everything that I need it to do.

People on the street know what Google is, but the vast majority do not know what GV is. I'd bet that the vast majority of people think that Google is nothing more than a way to search the internets. If non-techy people now know what GV is, it's because of the controversy (and they probably only know it by name, not by what it actually does).

Oh and my comment on the guy in the video: imbecile.

Thanks for answering a question I didn't ask and ignoring the one I did ask.

If you re-read my post you'll see that you just repeated back what I already said, so treating me like I'm being stupid for not knowing that is not really called for.

Thanks for answering a question I didn't ask while ignoring the one I did ask, then acting like I'm the idiot.

Maybe you should read more carefully before you treat other posters like they're stupid.

Hey, leave sinsin07 alone, he's going to have enough problems with the Brits in a few hours after his latest rant below: :D

I don't think anybody said MMS was new in the US. It just ain't on the iphone officially in the US. Europe LOL. Without the US you would not have SMS, MMS, cell phones, iphones or traffic lights. The very fact your on this fourm should give you a clue as to where your bread is buttered. :p Anything Europe has we can certainly live without, we invent it, Football (American) Basketball, and Baseball. Were self sufficient LOL

iPhone 2G would've done better :p

I get that you don't agree with the policy but i personally don't see how this affects Apple, they've already gotten their money seeing as you bought the phone already and you'll still have to pay ETF to AT&T so they also get their money. If anything it costs you more.

PS-Dude is a REALLY fast typer

For such a hater he sure knows is way around the keyboard

Darn plastic case. Let him try that with a 2G iPhone with a half metal jacket. :)

The guy could have sold those iPhones on Craigslist to buy a brand new phone. The video will get its fair share of views, but after that, it will be forgotten, and he will be left with nothing. I think you're out of your mind if you destroy your phone because you can't have Google Voice. Sure Apple rejects more apps than just Google Voice, but are you really going to hinge your life on Google Voice and other iPhone apps? How technologically dependent have we become to throw away $600 like that just for some other features? Oh, and have fun paying the termination fee with AT&T. The iPhone is already great: GPS, iPod, Phone, and Internet, and it's Apple hardware. You could have just waited for Google to put Google Voice as a Web App you know.................

Or just get those same apps on Cydia, jailbreaking your phone is much better than destroying it.

great video ...im going to go shoot my iphone and post it on you tube also, WHOS WITH ME?!!!

4.7/5

I would have rated it 5.0 if he had only first gone to the Genius bar on hidden camera after he shot it and said, "my iPhone is getting really poor battery life."

I really do hate Apple, but the iPhone is great for what I use it for as a college student with a non-office job. I imagine, however, as I graduate and start my career that I will out-grow the limitations and have to move on to a more functional device. Maybe I'll still get an iPod Touch - for fun.

What a weirdo, it's just a phone, man.
Buy it or don't buy it.

And BTW, AT&T will be sending you a bill. :p
