CONS

no instant push

App push notifications (such as IM) are also "instant".

I'm still with my blackberry, each day I appreciate it more and more. Everytime I pick up my iPhone it feels slow. everything it slow on it. No wonder I found it so aggravating to use.

Whenever the next gen iPhone comes out I will get it. (it better look different this time around!)

curious - what models of bb and iphone are you talking about? I have an iphone 3GS and a bb curve 8320. The iphone is very very fast at just about everything. The bb, on the other hand, lags doing such simple tasks as locking, unlocking, scrolling though icons on the home screen or email message, etc. Basically everything. It lags so badly I routinely scroll past where I intended because the cursor takes so long to start moving.

You should get an 8900.

That's all nice. Then when all those students graduate they'll be getting a BlackBerry :p

A lot can change tech-wise in the time it takes a law student to get out of law school.

updated to final day.

Just curious, what brought you back to the iPhone?

For the record, I've always considered the Blackberry Bold or Tour as a "close second" to the iPhone, but it would be interesting to hear what changed you back.
