Has anyone taken this beta for a good test drive yet? How stable is it on comparison to beta 1?

come on guys, cut the guy a break.

we're moving away from the topic at hand...

WTF IS THIS CAMERA NONSENSE. does this mean its not a good idea to go to beta 2 than?
well ok I just gave my 3G camera a test picture taking I'm now frozen at on a closed shutter after taking a pic, I also took a screenshot and it never saved to cameraroll...... no idea were the screenshot went, perhaps it never saved it

oww. def not sounding good. at all.

interesting development on the screenshot front, I took a screenshot nothing saved so I just compiled a log for apple and took a screenshot and it said screenshot request ignored as one is currently being written.

also looking at the log again when I took a pic I see the log reporting overflow issues like crazy

It says I have 13 App updates, but won't let me download them, even on wifi.

Crappy update.

Yeah I had the same problem. i am going back to 3.13. This is a bad update. I will wait until the standard stuff works (camera etc.) before I put it back on my everyday phone. I will stick to using it on my demo units for now.

I hate to state the obvious but its a beta not meant for your main phone

to that end it's not a crappy update. I'd rather have them shake this stuff out on the beta the the release code

It's crappy compared to beta 1, which was great. Breaking fundamental things that worked fine in earlier betas is pretty crappy.

Additionally, I should note that many developers probably have old iPhones laying around, but probably not old 3GS's. This firmware is very important to test on a 3GS. I think this should be easy to understand.
