iPhone 4G design that even Steve Jobs could approve

gotta agree, those do look pretty hideous. I still think this one looks the best. please please let it look something like this.

people wanted a new design, I know I do. I think it looks really nice! I hope its an aluminum case. I love the look of that white iphone! Front facing camera is ok, as long as its not as big as the hole on the on the front isnt as big as the one on the back. Hopefully it has features like macro shot or black and white pics.
Ok. If I'm honest I'm annoyed that, when sitting on a table (and especially when in a case), it's almost impossible to tell the three models apart. Unless I'm wrong, Apple have built their business on making products that people want to be seen with. But the if the 4thG iPhone looks (pretty much) the same as the 1, 2 and 3rdG, I personally wouldn't want to spend another £850 unless people can immediately see that I have the latest and best.
I'm so fed-up with saying "No, this one is the 3GS".

iPhone 3GS is white/black plastic casing with chrome text on the back.
Its actually pretty easy to distinguish them even in passing.

What? This is not really that different from the current design. I doubt the lockscreen will look like that, but as far as the hardware goes you can't really do anything except slight tweaks to screen-size, shape, and thickness.
One thing I was hoping for was that the front-facing camera would be in the same position as the back camera, implying a sort of "tunnel" that goes through the phone at that point.

Bored
I'm bored with my refridgerator, I mean it just has the same old doors, shelves for food and stuff, yeah it keeps food fresh and cold, but I want something new, maybe I can get something where all my food and beverage items are suspended on individual, colored cables, and hang upside down. Might be a pain to use but it sure would look cool, and different!

Frankly I'm getting bored of walls. They do the job keeping things fortified and give me a sense of privacy but meh.

I think it looks dope! The circle around the logo can go & have an illuminated logo would be great, and more variation of colors, but that white one is the business!! Yall KNOW that pink and green one would resonate well with some customers & the white and black stay classic. I, for one, would be first in line to get a red one like that. SUPER DOPE...
The matte design looks great too. Very classy. I'm kinda over that older "visual rumor roundup" mock-up, though. It's nice and I would no way not buy it if it looked like that, but if I had the choice, it would be the glossy colored ones with the classy matte one.
I hope the UI of OS 4.0 or so will be much more widget-like, or at least have widgets. Updating social networking statuses quickly, looking at vital info much quicker, more storage and memory, and the like. Android & WinPhone7 have stepped it up on that front. I have no doubt Apple will step up as well.
It would just be nice to take those jailbroken capabilities and put them in the original OS. I love the speed and simplicity of an unjailbroken iPhone but it feels so bare from the jailbroken one with all the features you can add to it.

I miss the aluminum of the original iPhone. Wish Apple would offer it again (and keep the current plastic as an option so others that prefer it could continue using it).

Ditto. my brother. I hope maybe whatever new phone tech comes out will allow for signal strength to be sufficient in an aluminum enclosure.
I like the front of it, but I hate the circle around the Apple logo and the color selection. It should come in only black, white, and gray/silver.

I'm hoping the new iPhone is a COMPLETE redesign. Something really cool, and not just a slightly modified version of the previous models.
And hopefully something aluminum, although I doubt it with these reports of Apple trying to cut back the cost of iPhone production.

I would also like to see a new design that has a form-fitting design to make the iPhone more comfortable to hold. Would be hard to do though.
