Has anyone getting stand by and usage times same on iOS 9.0 beta 1?
I know it must be performing some tasks behind the scenes but it's almost around 18-20 hours since i installed the beta and it is still happening. Any solution?
Using 4S.

If by that you mean tabs refreshing when switching tabs, nope. They just open right back up without refreshing. So glad it's this way now.

No, I mean the 'A problem has occurred with this webpage so it has reloaded' thing. Happens all the time, especially on MacRumors, with my iPod.

Apple always seems to do the speed optimisation for older devices at later stages. No need to get worried just yet.

This is all sounding very comforting. I wish someone was running iOS 9 on their iPad 2 so I knew how it ran on that.

That seems encouraging. Maybe even more responsive with Reduced Motion and Increased Contrast selected?

It's freaking awesome! Feels like iOS 7 right now and i know it will reach iOS 6 level with GM. And imagine how it will feel when Apple polishes the whole iOS around March.
Apple just gave another life to my 4s. Thanks!!

Does the iOS 9 beta version battery life work good on the 4s?

Things are going pretty well over here. But, the search feature just dies sometimes and I have to restart the device in order for it to start working again. Weird. Oh well.

Those of you with the beta running on the 4S, how do you feel performance holds up to:

iOS 8.3?
iOS 8.4 beta?
iOS 7.1.2?

Any anecdotal experience would be welcome :)

its the same performance as ios 8.4 beta. sometimes a little faster but it can never match the speed or stability of ios 7.1.2. if ios 9 performs as well as ios 7, i would be extremely happy

Ah that's a bummer to hear

Hopefully the final release i snappier than iOS 8

Some of those preview videos look promising so far

^ yeah, I was fortunate to have a developer friend let me give iOS 9 a go on my 5S, and it was very sluggish and slow. A lot of lag when switching between apps or when trying to send a text or even typing, especially surfing safari. Felt more sluggish to me at times than the original iPhone 4 on iOS 7, pre-7.1!

I realize now its best not to write off the 4S's performance on iOS 9 based solely on beta reports, and there may still be hope for a performance boost from iOS 8 given that its just a beta being a beta. I was overzealous in wanting to know how the performance would match up but it seems as usual we need to wait until the final version, or a more final version, is released.

Did you use it on 5s or 4s?
