The WebOS implementation is different from what I can gather. It has a pane similar to Android's, where icons representing each notification are shown in a line, but you have to tap on each notification to see what it is. There doesn't appear to be a way to see all notifications in a list, which Android and iOS both support. This is just what I can find on Google; I haven't actually used WebOS.
What about Smart Stay; I haven't seen that before. Nor have I seen direct call.

Android Beam is another first for Android.
Smart stay is pretty old tech. It's just new on any mobile OS.
Nothing new about Android Beam. It just uses NFC instead of Bluetooth, IR, and etc.
For the moment it all about innovation on already existing tech. Funny how some of you think it just been invented.
