Ok guys, beta 2 is out now. Keep the info coming!
My 6+ experience has been terrible. It's the lack of RAM. I'm convinced. As soon as I can confirm the 6S+ has 2GB of RAM or more, I'm upgrading. The 6+ was intended to be my first 2-3 year device since I don't feel the need to upgrade every year anymore. But the safari tab loads, random app crashing, spring boarding, and skipping of music/podcasts every time I switch between apps or process photos is driving me crazy.
I guess that move will be for the 6S+. Step up your RAM game Apple.
I'm surprised metal has seemingly done NOTHING to help these already hideously stuttery animations.
Well that is the joys of beta....I can second EVERYTHING mentioned above

I have been enjoying iOS 9 beta 1 and 2. But I am just beta testing and playing with new features. No need to complain yet since this is in early beta
I'm not sure if mine has a hardware fault - I've been to the Genius Bar twice because my screen keeps becoming unresponsive but they say it's because backboardd is crashing which detects touch input among other things. I've tried a DFU restore but it hasn't helped, but they insist it's software. Compare the amount of Jetsam Events a 6 Plus creates versus a 5 or even a 6 and it's no surprise that lots of people have been having problems.
If they are right and it is software, the phone is hopelessly underpowered. I don't want octa-core processors and terabytes of RAM, I just want a phone which is easy to use and I don't have to lock and unlock constantly just so the touchscreen detects my touches.
I really am glad yours works fine as, when it does work, it's the best iPhone Apple have ever made. But those moments, for me and many others, are increasingly few and far between. I just hope this isn't another iPad 3 situation and iOS 9 improves performance.
At what point do I complain?
Same exact thing happens to my 6+. Screen becomes unresponsive for about 10 seconds. Genius bas insists its a software problem. Hopefully iOS9 will fix this.

Hey guys how is safari? Still crashing and reloading?
I'm just disappointed by the fact that theirs no landscape view for the Music app.
With the hype and long over due of Apple Music.. Surprised not much effort has gone into the 6 Plus, especially with giving 6 Plus the ability to use landscape in nearly all of the stock apps.
Guys,any improvements on performance?
