I'll just come out and say what many of us are thinking. It's a total joke how few major apps are optimized. I'm talking billion dollar franchises like all the major sports apps (ESPN, NFL Mobile), all the TV networks, and most major finance, lifestyle, and news apps. I don't care if I sound entitled. When you dole out $850+ on a phone, you expect certain things. I know optimizing is a process and it doesn't happen overnight, but enough of the excuses. It's fair to say every app developer has had a reasonable amount of time to optimize their app, or at the very least, issue an update so the app isn't merely a blown up iPhone 5 app. There is no excuse for this 2+ months after launch. Anyone who is reading this and is thinking about breaking their contract early for 6/6+, my advice to you is DON'T. Hopefully by next years iPhone launch, MOST apps will finally be optimized. I will never buy a 'non-s' model again for this reason. It has killed the experience of buying a new iPhone. I now regret spending big $$$ when I should have kept my 5s one more year. Apple really messed this up by not communicating with app developers much, much earlier.
Totally agree. Quite frustrating.
Among the big ones I only have Spotify & Snapchat that are still not optimised.
