iPhone 6 Plus Optimised Apps

Are you sure? I just checked all IMDB update versions and none of them mention iPhone 6 or 6+
Just because they haven't added a landscape mode doesn't mean it hasn't been optimised. It's definitely been optimised for the new screen resolutions.
Is it me or are the optimized apps rather slow to appear? I know the submission process takes time, but is it actually quite a difficult thing for developers to implement as well?
From what I've read on Twitter, blogs, etc., it's Apple that's holding things up. Their queue for reviewing and approving apps is backed up.
It's not, and it won't be a for a few weeks. Facebook only updates their app every 4 weeks, so it'll be mid-October before it's updated.
In the meantime, I am using their Paper app. It's not optimized for iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus yet, but it doesn't look quite as bad as the normal Facebook app.
they actually update randomly. check their version history on their app in the app store. although since earlier this year, any new update is not listing what's new or being updated in the application.
Different teams working on the different apps. Probably less to deal with the Messenger app compared to a more complex Facebook app.

"Bracket Maker" and "College Football Playoff" were changed to vector graphics and auto scale perfectly for iphone 5.5 and 4.7. Now working on "Quiz and Flashcard Maker" atm.

This is slow... I would imagine most major apps would have been updated, but they are not. It really FEELs like using a 4k monitor and resolution is set to 1024x768 
I know. What a let down especially after they optimised the messenger app. Had my hopes up...
I never use Facebook but I have it on my phone. I use Messenger a bit more. I was excited to see it was updated for iPhone 6, then Facebook had an update and I was certain it was for the new resolutions, but it wasn't.
This bums me out because I was hoping if Facebook updated, Instagram would be soon after.
