I got a defender, it was delivered yesterday. Not the best option for me, as I hate the bulk, but since I'm outside a lot, and need something rugged to protect it, and has always worked for my past devices.
Who cares if Apple marks it as shipped? If you're already tracking it with UPS then you already know it has been shipped. I haven't checked the Apple order page since I found my tracking number.
ATT did not have that much stock. I completed my order at 12:20am for the 7 Plus 256 and I am in the 27-29 delivery window for ATT version.

Literally, no flights from VHHH to TPE. This is so WEIRD! Why are our phones in Taoyuan when there were not even any flights to there from Hong Kong??? I am hoping this is some weird system thing and they will show up in Anchorage but I am at a total loss.
You sim you!Something tells me some of us are overthinking the shipping thing. For some customers, they seem to be shipping from China, within the last 24-48 hours, for others, like me, stock is being assigned from Louisville, KY.
As a guess, Apple may have had X volume shipped in advance from China to Louisville, KY, in anticipation of Friday. Again, merely a guess. Plus, they would have had to start shipping from China last week, to get them to the respective Apple shops around the world.

But there is a delayed UPS61 there which i cannot find where it came from that arrived at right time for that checkin of our phones so somehow or someway we were all off on which flights our phones were on very, very weird indeed. I have been trying to find UPS61's history for day but no avail
We were previously speculating it was delayed / grounded there due to the Meranti typhoon.
I remember one year my package didn't show up in the US tell the morning of and I didn't get any notification about shipping from apple tell that morning for delivery. My phone got to my house very early I think about Noon that day. its amazing that something can be coming from china and get here on a plan within pretty much 24 hours. so don't worry if you don't see any updates tell the morning of the delivery. If apple says it will be here friday than i would say its almost a guarantee.
Verizon 7+ 128gb Black slated to arrive Friday 9/16. Details below. Significant other ordered at the same time as me (roughly 2:06am CST), but got the 27-29th window too, only difference was that it was AT&T next and not IUP. I think the AT&T part is the issue with those orders...

From what I can tell, the apple order status isn't getting updated. I have a watch and iPhone that both still say "preparing for shipment" but I've tracked them with UPS all the way from China to Louisville.
I remember when my iPhone 4 arrived a day earlier than launch day, but I was in Cancun on vacation
So I ordered mine at 12:04am Pacific on the day of and got stuck with that dreaded reservation of preorder because they could not contact the carrier. Once I was able to verify the order Saturday afternoon my phone has been stuck in preparing to ship Limbo. Still says its gonna be here on the 16th but it's not under my service profile and unable to reference track it as well.... Has anyone else been able to see a shipments on a model that had the Verify Reservation Issues???? iPhone 7+256 Black BTW
If you need to sign a release for delivery, I think we need to do that thru Apple?
Not sure which flight it would be? The only flights I saw in that timeframe to Alaska either just landed 20 minutes ago or is scheduled to land in an hour. I don't know what flight we would have been on that would have been rerouted...
So i ordered a 7 plus matte black 128gb at 7 minutes after orders went live. I got a delivery date of 9/27-9/29 just used my order number to track via UPS reference. It says its in Taiwan for delivery Friday. ! Still nothing has changed on apples end it still says processing and on ups it says its shipping to florida. I live in alabama so im somewhat concerned unless there is a hub in florida. Does anyone know?
I find it odd sprint is shipping the 7 + matte black 256 GB faster than those who order via Apple.
I just checked and Sprint still has September dates. My Apple order from later in the day on the 9th is October. If I cancelled the order and do it through sprint today I'd get it sooner.

I thought now that AT&T no longer does contracts, all the phones should be unlocked. I got mine this year with the IUP and it is unlocked. With so many configurations, who knows anymore.
BTW, after a failed attempt at 12:13..my order was completed at 6am and I have a 27-29 window (7+ 128gb Rose)
Ok, either I'm not understanding something, or UPS 61 is now scheduled to leave Anchorage at 3:15 pm AKDT. The info previously said "Delayed", but now, no delay.
