I have to agree on the credit card issue. I used my iTunes card on file, so there was no need to check. I had no temporary charge on the card.

that explains why i don't have a pending charge then, bc i used apple pay and they don't have to ping it i guess....

Seems like the matte black 7+ 256GB GSM may have been in short supply. Got my confirmation email at 12:08 AM PDT and it still says 9/27-29 via standard shipping.

I was hoping to see it show up in track by reference by now, but no such luck.

Hopefully it will be sent with expedited shipping and I'll have it within a few days of launch so I can sell my old phone.

I don't think im getting at launch I was 13 min after site opened. my friend same exact config gets his a week before my even though he ordered 12 min after I did. Figure that one out Apple Support couldn't.

Well first off, I didn't call you a liar. Second of all, my wife is a VP for Union Bank Transaction Banking division. Thirdly, a pending charge takes 3-5 days to drop off depending on your financial institution. And number 4, I've been pre ordering iPhones since the 3 and I'm speaking from prior experience.

Also if you use the same card you have on file for your iTunes and Apple Pay, they don't need to check it.

agree, I used app on phone an laptop and neither opened before 1213

I used the apps on the phone and the iPad and my email confirmation came to me at 0:12.

The 7 Plus I ordered went from Shanghai to Anchorage to Louisville while my 7 went from Shenzhen to Chek Lap Kok to Taoyaun. Both are scheduled for delivery Friday.

Go into ups and select track by reference. Put in your billing phone number. It should come up if it shipped. Apple still says preparing for shipment and mine shipped on the 11th and is in Louisville now.

Did Apple change how serial numbers are decoded? Those websites aren't able to tell me anything about my phone when I put in the serial number. Usually they can tell you what week the phone was manufactured and stuff.

Just chatted with UPS online. Flights and deliveries are being impacted by the typhoon. I have no idea where mine is anyway cause I have tried all tracking and nothing. Grrrrrrr

My iPhone has been stuck since early this morning after arriving and departing from Alaska. I guess I don't feel so bad since it's past the typhoon already.
