Hi! I ordered an iPhone 7 32gb Silver on 9th of Sep few seconds after it was available. In the email that I received it says delivers of 16th of Sep, but the status is still preparing for shipment. I tried to track it with UPS but it's not working. Anyone else in this situation? Is it possible for it to come Friday if it was not shipped yet?

True. They don't necessarily have to go through Louisville: to make the scheduled date, UPS can work magic and route stuff differently than planned. For example, they could go from Alaska straight to DFW airport in my case. It's kind of remarkable how they handle logistics.
Go into ups and select track by reference. Put in your billing phone number. It should come up if it shipped. Apple still says preparing for shipment and mine shipped on the 11th and is in Louisville now.
I did find a couple other planes that left Taiwan in the original UPS61 period I would think though scan departure would have been made but who knows.

As a UPS worker posted here a few days ago, sometimes UPS scans a whole shipment and then updates the individual package scans after arrival at the destination.

I am snd have been told shipping notices out tonight or tomorrow. If it says the 16th then it's the 16th. That is what Apple pros are saying. Good luck to us.

I have to say, this is the first time I've tracked the flight of my preorder but it's kinda fun. Seeing it progress toward me as the week moves on, keeping on an eye on all the flight paths, and getting to see where my iPhone must go to get from point A to point B.

My case came today now I wait for my phone October 18 - October 31 delivery dates The plane carrying my phone just landed in Anchorage! Woohoo! Team UPS59 here.
I did as well. Ordered using the app, confirmation email at 3:05 am eastern. 256GB 7+ Jet Black AT&T same delivery window.
