Has everyone been starting to get recharged, or charged again? My phone is in Kentucky and is still preparing to ship but I haven't been charged again??

I think that's about the only thing that makes sense, really. As long as it shows up on Friday I guess I don't care but it would be good to know what happened since it's so nonsensical. I really hope they show on Friday. If I wake up in the morning and it's still sitting in Taiwan I am going to be really bummed.

Well based on time for that flight to depart it will be morning still about 7 AM CDT according to time left in departure schedule. It gets to Anchorage at around 3 PM CDT and leaves 2 hours later if that other scheduled flight sitting is the rest of its route

Well, I was mad given the situation and context that it happened. I was actually sitting down, enjoying some frozen yogurt with a friend, when it slipped out of my polyester shorts and hit the ground just right. I wasn't even moving... but the slick iPhone + slick material of shorts = caused it to fall right out! In the end, Apple replaced it free of charge (man I was lucky). They quoted me $300 and then I got another rep who quoted me higher. Once the senior rep found out about the lower quote, he said "you know what, this is not the Apple way to misrepresent the prices. Im going to do it for free." It was a true blessing!

That was a blessing! I had to give up $100 boy was I mad smh lol

for those who ordered iphone cases from apple, how long did it take for you to receive those? i ordered one on the 9th and it said it'll take 1-2 weeks (tech 21) from apple...then on the 10th i thought to order an apple one and it has been preparing for shipment since yesterday. i wasn't sure how long it would take to ship but i'd like it for friday when i receive my phone! thanks in advance!

You got off easy, trust me! When Apple received my phone (I had to ship it to them) they said the glass had somehow affected the internals of the unit, so they replaced the entire phone for me. This is why I love Apple.

yeah, same. they must know something we don't. cause if it really wasn't going to make it, they would've probably updated it to say so. logistics team people are probably figuring out flights and whatnot as we speak to see how they can get shipments onto other planes, etc. to make the delivery date.

I'm sure they will be here. Probably start moving some time tonight. I'm just mad USPS delivered my glass screen protectors to the wrong address :mad: They suck so bad!

I like the Sector Pro cases from Element Case, but they always take a long time after a release to push their product out so I had gotten a Midnight Blue Leather case for my 6+ and loved it while I used it. So I am getting another for the 7+ plus, but almost thinking of a different color this time, until Element comes out with theirs, of course. :)

It's sexy.

I ordered a midnight blue 7+ apple case and a saddle brown 7+ case for my hubby Sept 9th when pre-orders began and received them yesterday. 4 days later.

I love the lilac color! It's the color of my watch band. I can't do leather so I'm glad to hear good things about the silicone. I'm going to order one, thanks!!

We'll get a "Ready for Pickup" confirmation (my guess the morning of -- or late the night before?). I'm going back to shipping it next year -- not as fun without being able to track it like the others ;)
