Likely holding the depot arrival scan until the trucks are out and/or done for the day so they can't be accidentally delivered.

I would say expect a local hub scan to magically show up after hours tonight prior to morning dispatch.

So envious of all you people getting your delivery on launch day! I got my order confirmation in at 12:14PST for an iPhone 7+ JB and got a delivery date of September 30th-Oct 3rd. Anyone else with those dates see any movement on either the apple support page or on UPS? Not having luck.

I am in the same boat! I have preorder 2 phones each launch for the last six years shortly after preorder (and by shortly I mean minutes) 8 have a rose gold and the regular matte black 7 plus both ordered around 12:15-12:30! My shipping dates quoted were 27-29 and 30-4. I haven't seen any movement yet and if history repeats we should see our phones when quoted or about 3-4 days before the quoted time! Hopefully we will see them late next week or early the following! I hope this helps!

Just a heads up, the Taiwan flight has NOT taken off. The departure 'scan' took place, but the plane is still grounded. Im 99% sure its flight UPS6061. It leaves at 7:41am central standard time... so we still have about 45 minutes before it goes up in the air. It will land in Anchorage at 4:03pm central time. It will then take off two hours later at 6:15pm central, and arrive in Louisville at 11:53pm central.

You're lucky. The UPS customer center that serves my area is almost 30 miles away from where I live (I'm likely on the border that delineates the point where one customer center stops service and the other picks up). With traffic, it's easily a 40+ minute drive.
