so if it's in the air scheduled to land today... there's no reason for it not to be here tomorrow! Alaska at 1 p.m. (pacific)... fly to Louisville (why?????) then overnight to Ontario. they do it every day... what's their issue now????

Same thing I'm thinking. I think it will be here they just updated things to be on the safe side. We will see. Apple website still says 9/16.

I'm making a parcel drop box so I can pre sign for my delivery and not have it stolen.

I'm looking for information on shipping box sizes for iPhone 7 plus. I think it would be the same as what they used for the 6s plus.
Again that's the size of the shipping box not the Apple product box.

If I get one built today I'll post my plans for others to use. It's going to be basic plywood construction, should be easy for others with basic carpentry skills.

I think the issue is getting the phones to west coast once the flights land. They simply just cannot be dispatched out that fast. Louisville is the worldwide hub, and everything is dispersed from there, to their respective local hubs.

They've done it other years. You'd be surprised at what they can do. I've sat here and watched my orders fly from china to here over the years and there's no reason (short of an issue with customs paperwork) that a flight that lands in Alaska today can't get here tomorrow!

I believe mine is on the 6061 flight. I live in Washington DC. I notice that tracking on Apple's site mentions a weather delay on the 14th. UPS tracking doesn't mention that.

So I got my shipping notices for both my phones, will be here tomorrow. I placed each order separately though. I received one email about AppleCare+ Proof of Coverage, and I can see that phone listed on the site with the coverage through Sept 2018. The other one though I didn't get the AppleCare+ Proof of Coverage, and it just says coverage through Sept 2017. These are both on the Apple Upgrade Program though. Anyone seen that? I'm assuming that's just something I need to call Apple about after I get the phones?

There's no weather, that I can tell, that is affecting THIS flight! It's already airborne and scheduled to land in Alaska.. if the typhoon was affecting it, it wouldn't have left japan!

Yes, that was for the 14th. So if it's saying on UPS that delivery is the 16th, then you should have it then.

Finally some movement. 256 jet black PLUS ATT Next. Ordered 3:07am eastern confirmation email 3:12am. Debit card charged today and Apple shows preparing for shipment. My original dates were 9/26-10/3. It changed to 9/21- 9/28.

She got the exception notice of delay from UPS so I dunno who's right.
Here's hoping apple is right on this one!

Thank you for the flight number! I was able to put it into the fightaware app on my phone with that! looks like it doesn't get into Louisville until 1:10 a.m. UPS needs to do Saturday deliveries. Someone dropped the ball on this shipment saying all along the 16th and now changing it at the last minute....

Yes, that was for the 14th. So if it's saying on UPS that delivery is the 16th, then you should have it then.

Agreed. I guess what I am saying is that it was likely supposed to ship a day or two ago. It was delayed but will still hopeful get here tomorrow...

scheduled delivery 9/27-9/29
I had the pre-order in11 minutes after the hour on the 9th

One other step... it has to clear Customs. Not to say it can't be done quickly but that's another stage in the movement. That occurs in Louisville.
