Sorry to hear the Japan crew is getting some delays. Mine is the same flight but UPS is showing I get mine tomorrow still. I do live in Missouri which is relatively close to Kentucky. Kentucky will ship to Lexington, KS, then to my city in Missouri.

One to two days. Just get my choice and start looking for the tracking number.

I ordered it Friday around 2:30 central for att 256 MB 7+. I ordered a watch and phone I only have received tracking info for watch from Apple but see 2 packages being delivered Friday.

My card was just charged and it now says preparing for shipment! Nothing in track by reference or support profile yet. Original delivery estimate was 9/27-29

I have the same iPhone order and same date. Just got an alert on my cell phone from Wells Fargo that a charge over $1000 hit my account. It was Apple charging me for my iPhone and my status has changed to "Preparing for shipment"!!

I'm waiting for mine in LA. I'm on UPS61 from Osaka to Anchorage. No delay as of now, still says it will be delivered tomorrow.

I'm not holding my breath, but I think my 5 or 5s didn't prepare until Thursday morning and made it from China to my front door in 24 hours for a launch day. Not expecting it, but it did happen in the past. At this point it seems it will be way earlier than the 27-29 and that is a good thing. Black leather case waiting empty for it to arrive.
