I haven't either. Flipped to "Preparing" late morning/early afternoon and card was charged, but no shipping yet.

How were you guys able to make delivery changes with UPS? They wouldn't let me do anything! My new leasing office gave me the wrong building number, so my phone is going to my neighbors. Apple and UPS wouldn't let me change it without cancelling and going to the back of the line. Neighbor is a witch who will not help me at all. Would have been nice to hold at UPS or change delivery address to my building but they told me no!

That's the case sometime they scan it very late last year my 6s plus scanned in my local ups around 5 am then it went out for delivery

Let's share some crazy release day stories:

When the 3GS came out, I was going to be in Vegas for the release, so I pre-ordered and had it shipped to my hotel (I think Bally's). Since I had used my wife's upgrade (and she was flying to Vegas the next night due to work conflicts), I couldn't actually activate the phone until she arrived, or else it would de-activate hers (you had to activate your phone with the number it was sold to, then you could swap SIM cards).

For the 4, my phone was delivered a day early (6/23 instead of 6/24), so that was kind of fun. Only time that ever happened to me.

When the 6 came out, I was going to be at a rental beach house, and by then they got smart and only let you ship to your AT&T billing address (assuming you had AT&T, of course), so, knowing that, I changed my billing address to the address of the rental house on the AT&T site, placed my order, then, after the phone had shipped, I set my address back to my actual address on the AT&T site.

Looking back, any number of things (shipping delays, mostly) could have really messed up plans.

Anyone else have any launch day stories to share?

Two launches I stood line on launch day. The 4 and I think the 4S or whichever one it was the year they didn't have a preorder. I always met awesome people standing in line for a phone. But one of those times I got mixed up and thought I was suppose to wait inside the mall where the Apple Store was. (Hey I'm from the country, we don't have malls). The Apple Manager threatened to call the cops. I couldn't understand what his problem was. Then I wondered where everyone else was and then I found the line outside. I felt dumb, I really think he overacted instead of just saying "you know the line is ....". But I met great people and still got my phone within a few hours of the store opening. So it all worked out.

I havent got a departure scan from louisville, pretty sure it hasnt departed from there yet

Mine left KY at 1:35 PM and I'm in PA outside Philly. Usually heads to Horsham. If it's on a truck, that's a good 10 hour drive. We probably won't see an update for a little while yet.

While we are killing time hitting refresh, I don't think this has been asked yet, but what is everyone upgrading *from*? Also, put in what you are upgrading to, for reference. I will start it off:

Edit: Don't shun me for not getting a plus! I went back and forth, and still kind of want one, but worried about one-handed use.

When I track via UPS using order number minus two I get tracking info for delivery tomorrow HOWEVER it says shipping to Ft Worth, TX. I don't see any reference to Louisiana where I am. Is it possible there are duplicate order numbers or that Ft. Worth is just a hub before final destination to Louisiana? Anyone else have this issue?

256 black, att, 2:12 CST confirmation email. I was in the 9/27 - 9/29 group until earlier today when I got preparing for shipping and bumped to 9/26 - 9/28 delivery. I don't know what to believe! Thoughts??
