Thanks Jchiou - yes looks like I will get it tomorrow so at least I don't have to wait until Monday. I'm getting a new Apple toy today anyway to get me busy until tomorrow (new 15 MBP for work) so all hope isn't lostnoooooo!!! i'm sorrybut - don't lose hope though; they may deliver it tomorrow. could be a chance.

Glad they pulled it off for you. Seems unlikely they're going to pull it off for me. I got this message this morning: "A late flight has caused a delay. We're adjusting plans and working to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Your shipment is scheduled to arrive today after the delivery commitment time."
Mine is out for delivery and I'm scrambling to leave work early right now. So much anxiety.
I'm really hoping!! lol...there's another plane to Ontario that hasn't landed yet, too, it could be on that one if they missed the departure scan.

Well my wife's iPhone is currently in Louisville at 5:45am local. Not going to make it to Phoenix today but ups says they will deleiver it tomorrow morning (Saturday).
But great news my iPhone that had a October 1st estimated arrival just shipped and has left china. Ups is saying mine will get here Monday!!!!!

I had the same message but they did update and said it will be delivered tomorrow instead of making me wait until Monday - said it was requested so hopefully that's the deal with Apple so at the very least you can get it tomorrow I hope....good luck!
Sorry if this was already answered. I requested to pick up my package myself at my local ups customer center, it has already been scanned in to that location. Below is what tracking says now. Does this mean it's ready to be picked up? Or does it need to update to say something else like 'ready for pickup'?

Up until today I was in such a hurry to see my JB beauty shipping. Now that it's on the vehicle for delivery, I want them to slow down. I pre-signed because I don't want to miss the delivery, but I don't trust people/kids in my area either. I've only been at work an hour?! This will be the longest day ever.
No, you will see it say that the request has been completed and that it's now available for pickup and will be held for 5 days or something along those lines.

Sorry you have to wait until tomorrow! In my case, it looks like they made some magic happen and it's now on the truck for delivery today. I don't know what changed in the last couple of hours. At any rate, until it shows up at my door, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Showed same for me. i chatted with customer rep of UPS. she approved hold for pickup and now i need to wait for CC to open and pickup
Waiting at the hub...tracking doesn't show it scanned in yet, so we'll see. Just two other people here waiting for their iPhone.
