Mine is available for pick up at the UPS CC in Pittsburgh. Hope you get yours early today!
Both iPhones (non-Plus Black 128GB ordered 3:09 EDT) delivered an hour AFTER I left for work. It's going to be a long 12 hours until I get back home. I should probably go to sleep instead of spending an hour upgrading iPhones

So I've always gotten mine on launch day or went to the store. This year I will not (stupid alarm that didn't go off). For those of us with later ship dates (October 4-10) how well does Apple meet that deadline? Is it pretty accurate or should I expect to move up a bit?
I hate this. Your phone is on a UPS truck and there's nothing you can do but WAIT.
I found other things to do like smoke a 10 pound pork shoulder while waiting ;-) Back up my old 6sPlus so ready to upgrade the new one...
This sounds so much worse than, er, you know, your phone not even being assembled yet...

Apple is truly a WELL oiled machine. Last year my in store reservation took about 30-45 minutes and I was impressed. This year my reservation was for 9am, I got there at 8:40 just in case. There were about 5 people in line ahead of me, all 8:30 reservations. I actually left the Apple store at 8:58, and some of that time was spent BSing with staff.
PS: ordered a matte black plus and I was wondering if I made the right decision. Got to fondle the jet black and I know the matte was the right one. The JB one looks and feels like plastic to me, I don't think I'd be happy with it long term. The matte one has that nice metallic look that sets it apart. Anyhow the one I picked up was my wife's gold one, my black plus is still on the UPS truck.

Hey Pittsburgh here too! Out for delivery! Almost did a pickup at that location, but the time they gave me is close to when UPS comes to my house.
I'm just glad I'm going to be super busy at work today with no time to constantly be checking if my oct 4-10 date has moved to preparing for shipping. Damn you, Apple. DAMN YOU!
I wonder what happened to mine? No departure scan from KY and still no updates. Weird. The date still says 9/16 also.
I notice that most of the phones that have had their shipping date moved up are for At&T. Any one have theirs move up from Verizon? My Card was charged yesterday but still shows "Processing items". set for Sept 23-27. I also paid the extra 10 shipping to get here sooner. Maybe i should not have but i am new to apple pre-orders been on Android for a long time.
About to be off work in an hour. I'm taking my doorbell speaker and putting it right next to my pillow LOL just in case my mom doesn't catch him.

Where do you pick it up in Pittsburgh? Not that I can do that at this point, but just for future reference. I think I picked something up once near Sharp Edge in like Crafton once. Is that where you go?
