iPhone 7/7+ Apple.com Pre-Order Thread

I got my silver iPhone 7 plus delivered to me around 3ish to my office. Was starting to get worried cause we only had a couple of more hours after that before we closed.

I did have trouble activating it. Took forever for iTunes to download 10.0.1 to my laptop. And once it did, I restored. But I couldn't activate it! It kept saying that it couldn't contact the Apple servers. But I finally got it working. Restored my backup. And am installing apps right now. Good luck to everyone!

I called UPS and luckily I got someone on the phone who actually knew what to do. He was able to verify that my package is in fact in San Diego at the distribution center but is still being sorted. Because of that I will have to wait until Monday to be able to pick it up. That gives me a little peace of mind as my tracking Delivery Date still says "unavailable" and my last scan was in Louisville KY 3:00 am this morning. Maybe they will surprise me and let me pick up my package tomorrow, or I will get it Monday. Super disappointed. But I am glad it made it to town.

What number did you call? I just called the ups number and all he said is it's coming tomorrow and has no further information. Sigh

So these charges on everyones cards.... My card was hit last night sometime for $560.52 and another charge for $129.00 (AppleCare). Did you guys see 3 charges (device, tax, applecare) or just 2?

I got a 256 Silver 7+ Verizon and I ordered it on the 10th. It's currently prepared for shipment, showing a 9/28-9/30 delivery, but I'm optimistic I'll see it before then. Perhaps late next week.

Congrats to all who got them!!! I didn't do the whole launch day thing, I wasn't sure that I wanted a new phone (OK OK, needed a new phone) but then the 10th rolled around and I was kicking myself in the butt. My 6+ needs to be retired. <3

Problem is, the site doesn't provide jack for info. I wish it said either "we lost your package" or "we forgot to put it on the plane". Information unavailable is just lazy. I don't even have a message like others saying, "upgraded to Saturday delivery ".

I know; it's just incredibly maddening. Like, I have stuff to do! I had stuff to do today and have stuff to do tomorrow as well, but because I live by myself, I'm having to sit here, staring out the front window for hours on end instead. Total first-world problem, but that doesn't make it any less annoying. Sigh.

My Black 7+ arrived about an hour ago and I'm setting it up. It came with OS 10.0 and needs to update to 10.0.1 - the first tried failed because of busy servers. 2nd try seems to be processing now. Must be A LOT of people doing this at the same time. I was also forced to connect to iTunes to complete the Verizon verification, but that was not a big deal as I planned on connecting to iTunes to restore from my back up.

Received my matte black 7 128 GB and my wife's rose gold 7+ 128 GB at 3 pm today from FedEx (ordered at 8 am CT on 9/9). No charges have been charged to my bank. Activating now.

I'm so sorry for you... but - if you want a "bright" side, when you do get your phone tomorrow, chances are you won't have the stress of working that day and can enjoy the unboxing and setting up your new toy - er tool - without distraction

I've had my phone since 9:58am and I have to say I love it so much. I never had issues with my 6 plus so I would've kept it until next year but I really wanted force touch and they came out with a black phone so I caved.

It had 78-79% battery out of the box and now its 25% with low power on. I said it up as new so been getting all apps downloaded, 2fa figured out and more importantly testing the camera using my cats as subjects haha.

Now waiting for the second one to ship so other half doesn't hate me.

Thank you for your kind words. I hope it's really true that it will be here tomorrow. But judging from today I'm already losing hope. Working from home today I'm definitely distracted.

My JB 7+ 128Gb ordered within a minute of the site being live, given the 9/28-10/03 shipping date has finally changed over to Preparing for Shipment.

I guess everyone who ordered sometime in the first 10 minutes or so can be sure you'll get your phone sometime next week.

My 7JB 128gb, 9/26 - 10/3 still processing. Hoping in a movement in the weekend or Monday. No charge on the CC yet.

Does anyone else with a 23-27 delivery date have a tracking number yet? I've been charged, order says preparing, but it's still not in my support profile and nothing under reference tracking on UPS...

Ordered 7+ MB 256 GB ATT @ 1:23 MDT, est 9/23-9/27 delivery.

CC charged yesterday and changed to preparing to ship.

Just saw this in UPS by putting order# in reference, estimated delivery 9/20.

BUT it's going to MA and I am in CO. So maybe MA first, then CO on 9/21 or 9/22?

Delivered today! First impressions, the matte black is very slick, no lines and black all across the bottom speaker grills. I like the new Taptic Home button even better than the real button. Level 3 gives a nice click that feels like a button. Speaker sound coming from the top and bottom is nice, screen seems more vibrant, and the A10 Fusion is incredibly fast.
