my original date was sept 27-29th, i called last week and got next day air shipping(didnt change anything) but the date went to sept 20-22nd....

I won't be home Tuesday to sign for this, so I selected the option to hold at the CC. Now none of the scans are showing up for me? Just says Departed ZhengZhou at 9:07 and Arrived ZhengZhou 9:28. Next update says the delivery option was changed and the CC location is pending (even though I already selected the location?) Is this normal, for scans to not show when you select to hold at a CC?
There's a plane from ZhengZhou to Anchorage flying right now, it should getting there in the next 2-3 hours
My phone has finally shipped! Been in "preparing shipment for like two days now." So far no movement however from ZhengZhou, China however.
Literally you posted this the same time as I posted mine. I'm assuming since my phone has the same times, it should be on that same plane to Anchorage?

Mine was showing preparing for shipping for over two days. It wasn't until this morning, it shows fully shipped with a tracking number.

They send you tracking number? I dont see anything just preparing for shipment... for 3 days now

What a whore **** company they just tell you same thing from apple order status.. in hella rude way.. I said they charged me since 3 days but I dont have have my package in hand.. and she goes like it will ship in 6-8 days..
Thanks for the link-that was quite informative. I ordered mine on 9/9 around 1630-1700ish, I believe, and according to the site, they're currently at 16:07. Now at least I can check where they're at, but I'm annoyed that people are walking into stores and buying +'s off the shelf in North America when people who preordered aren't really getting them here.
Note for those not in Japan: 1601 or 4:01 pm local time was when the order window opened here. Coincidentally, this was 0001 or 12:01 am Pacific.

That was my original date too for a 256 Black 7 Plus. UPS My Choice is saying Tuesday. Apple sent me my AppleCare Plus agreement today.
My iPhone is still in ZhengZhou too. It's been there for almost 48 hrs local time. Hopefully its flying out soon or has just missed scans. I was supposed to receive the package Friday, but UPS is saying delivery will happen on Tuesday now.
I can kind of understand the situation in NA simply because of the size of the market. And they have guns and seem to get really angry about waiting.
The thing I find frustrating in Japan is how Apple will prioritise getting stock to stores over online orders. There are so few stores here that lots of people would have to travel quite a bit to get to one (you would have to fly; I'd have a 2-3 hour train journey). For example, I had ordered a 9.7" iPad Pro Smart Keyboard in March/April and was waiting ages and finally went to the Osaka store where they had well over twenty in stock. And the same thing happened with the iPad itself a few weeks prior: happened to be in Tokyo, stopped by a store and left with what I had ordered online a week and a half before.
This prioritisation is happening to some extent with the iPhone 7 (there was at least one Jet Black 7 available at the Shibuya store this morning; and lots of rose gold phones around the country). The 7 Plus, too, had stock in stores this morning, but it was quite limited and sold out within 15-30 minutes.
I think UPS does do a flight out of there, but I think it goes to Seoul first.
Yeah, they suggested I call the local depot on Monday morning to make absolutely sure it would be on a truck for delivery, as though that's my responsibility! This is a first for me with UPS--every other launch has been relatively pain-free, but this one's a fiasco.
