I'm an airline pilot, and I've tracked every flight since the iPad 1 came out. Tracking flights is fun! My Lord... Now THAT was a stressful launch. I mean I have a 6+ now, so it's not like it's that big of a deal, but with the original iPad, it sure was since none of us had anything like it. I think I preordered that one in February or March, and it came in late April. Now THAT was agonizing. Apple kept sending me the accessories one at a time before the iPad actually came, so that did nothing more than wet my appetite even more. I was fit to be tied. haha!
Edit: In fact if you look at my join date, it's like 5 days prior to the iPad actually arriving, so it was a thread like this that pushed me over the edge to join. LOL.

I preordered my Jet-7-128 the night of preorder around 30 after midnight.
Was quoted September at first and then at the end pushed until Oct 4–10. Very sad.
Today it has moved to "Preparing for shipment" which to me means it will very likely come much sooner.
Does that sound right?

I hope you get yours soon as well AND in time for your trip. I'm sure you'd like to take pics with your awesome new camera! I was with SB six years ago when they were the only carrier in Japan who had the iPhone. I had them for four years until I changed to AU two years ago for better coverage. I must say, this is the first time I've had issues with Apple honoring preorders. If their new strategy is to ship phones out to stores rather than honor preorders, I may not bother anymore.
Ordered 2 iPhone 7 plus 256 GB matte black (1 for me and 1 for my Dad). When I checked out we were quote 9/23-9/27.
Just got the alert that his shipping label has been made and it will arrive on the 22nd. I hope mine is in that shipment as well since they are identical. Funny thing is I order his after I placed my order but I am not worried too much.

Super random but did anyone get their shipping cost refunded if you did the 2-3 day option?
I ask as I just logged in to check my order and noticed that my shipping cost changed from $10 to $0. I'm not complaining by any means but it struck me as very random lol. My order is still preparing for shipping with a date of 9/23-9/27

AND! If you ordered the 3G (which I did) you had to wait even LONGER! It was so agonizing!
Question people my phone I set to vibrate when I plug it to charge it won't vibrate but it vibrates to make calls and vibrates to make calls and to get notifications what can be the issue it's on my iPhone 7

So, my order just changed from processing to Preparing for Shipment. How many days typically to change from preparing to ship to actually shipped?
No timing they just put preparing for shipment so you cant cancel or return.. My been saying preparing for shipment since 4 day.. lol
Lol - I would love to get mine before the end of the month but my dates so far still say 10/4 - 11. Oh well.
Sorry to tell you that I m on pfs since Friday morning since then no movement. My delivery date is 23-30 September, ordered within minutes of opening. Jb 256gb 7 plus att. Cc also charged but I m keep looking and waiting.
Do the celebrities, politicians etc get their phones directly from apple without ordering or do they have to do the same ordering thing. If they get directly then there are many many people that might causing the delay plus the parts for the pluses I assume is hard to obtain specially this mind blowing dslr quality dual lens camera.
