Mine is in Sparks now which arrived about 20 minutes ago. Do you think they will let me pick it up today?

Here is what I did. The customer service lady I spoke to was very nice. She said if she put in the hold request nobody would look at it until Monday. However since my location is open today 10-1 if I just show up and they look and see the request in there they will most likely go find my package and give it to me.

Don't put your request in online do it over the phone. In order to tell if you facility is open on Saturday at all you need to go through the motions of holding the package online. That will tell you the facility location and hours they are open.

That is correct per UPS Customer Service an exception/agreement was made with Apple if a phone get a destination scan before 10AM a delivery attempt will be made. Destination scan means the package has arrived at your local hub applicable to your service area NOT the main hub for your city however I'm sure one can request a pickup at their main hub if open.

OMG. Crying with laughter. From a chat a few minutes ago to find out if they know about Saturday delivery. (They don't.)

To be fair, one Apple rep did tell me it depends on what state you're in. UPS doesn't offer saturday deliveries on some states. Which is hard to believe in my opinion.

Phone still in Queens. Normally it would depart and arrive at a UPS Center closer to me, then go out for delivery. But its 9am and its still sitting there. I think im not getting this phone until Monday.

Same here...mine still says departed jamaica. I'm guessing it's heading towards maspeth since that's where all my packages come from. Was hoping for it to be delivered today but seems more likely a Monday delivery

I'm a 801er and my phones are out for delivery today. My route was Louisville to Raleigh to Winston Salem this morning. I never received an email from neither Apple or UPS. There is hope!

Even if you've scheduled to have your phone held at a local CC, it's possible you'll get it delivered today.

I requested mine be held ever since I received the tracking number, and UPS just delivered it. I had no Saturday delivery email from Apple and my tracking didn't even say it was out fir delivery.

I cannot believe this! My phone is out for delivery today!!! Ups sent me notifications saying Monday. Next thing I look it says on truck out for delivery today!!!

Mine was rescheduled for Monday this morning and next thing I knew it said out for delivery today!

Mine just got updated to out for delivery today! Also for anyone wondering if UPS delivers Saturday this is straight from their website

On weekends, UPS works Saturdays but not Sundays. UPS delivers UPSWorldwide Express®, UPS Next Day Air® Early, UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air® packages on Saturdays. Packages must be processed and labeled forSaturday Delivery. The shipper pays extra for Saturday Delivery.

I am assuming we all have worldwide express here!

My phones are out for delivery today as well. I'm an 801er and I never received an email from Apple that mine would be deliver today. Beforehand, my UPS tracking said they would be delivered on Monday.

Just spoke to someone at UPS. She (was actually super nice) said the plane left from KY late last night and is still being unloaded at JFK as we speak. I asked her if i could pick it up from Jamaica and she said no. That Id just have to wait. She estimated Monday or Tuesday, but Im thinking Monday.

EDIT: Well if yours says departed Jamaica, maybe yours is headed to Maspeth. I dont have a departure scan from Jamaica yet.

It depends on your destination from Louisville. Mine departed at 5:20 this morning for an hour long flight to Raleigh NC. From there I guess it was on a truck to Winston Salem (a two hour drive). I did not receive out for delivery update on UPS's site until it reached Winston Salem.

Just wanted to let everyone know: UPS has created specific iPhone delivery teams at nearly every metro/urban distribution hub, regardless if they are open on Saturdays. From what I was told, they have about 3 trucks at each of those facilities that will be doing nothing but delivering iPhones today. Go and check your tracking info, because there is a good chance your package is out for delivery.

I was thinking Monday delivery as well but that sounds like it can possibly be today
