To everyone in LA area who got mechanical failure message at 6:55, there was something wrong at Ontario but, delivery vehicles are going to the airport to pick up our phones there. The rep I talked to told me that my phone should arrive by noon today. That time might differ for others but, it is being delivered as we speak.

Mine just showed up! No update since it reached my hub, still no update now that its delivered haha. Yeyyy! Hope everyone gets theirs soon!

this makes me happy. i'm in los angeles. that mechanical failure message worried me.

Actually, I left the pre auto slip on the door just in case, but I still kept a vigilant watch. Most likely, they'll leave the package with the signature on the door, but I didn't want to leave the house and take a chance.

So, I was part of the 801 Korea group. I had an arrival scan at 1:28am today in Louisville, and an import scan at 3:17am and NOTHING since!! Shipped on the 19th. Initial delivery quote from UPS for the 21st, and Apple initially said 23rd. I'm glad everyone is getting theirs delivered today, but I want mine too!

I requested for pick up yesterday and received the email from apple stating it would be delivered today. I went by the UPS CC this morning and they told me it wasn't there yet and that it's on it's way from the airport. That was at 10:10 this morning.

My UPS tracking info still doesn't show that it's ready for pickup. I'm located in Austin, TX. Can you let me know if you're able to pick it up?

Looks like we're in the same situation, literally lol. But yeah man I'll be sure to let you know. I dunno whether to go check it out soon at the CC or wait at home since people were saying they were ignoring hold requests.

You asked to hold at the 183/290 CC I'm assuming, right? Were they still allowing pickups today?

Also, does your tracker show anything more than the Arrival Scan in Austin? That was the last update I got.

Forget about ups tracking, I went from Monday 9/26 delivery to this. 10/18-10/31 window, ordered 00:18 att 7 plus JB.

Fellow 801-er I received my matteblack -128g phone today!! I had an email from both apple and UPS saying it wouldn't be delivered until Monday, but instead it was delivered today! My original dates were 10/4 - 10/11 So happy I'm done with emotional rollercoaster!! lol

Ha! I had no idea you were in Austin too. Yeah, I went to the 183/290 location. Their direct number is 512-929-6299 but I haven't been able to get through to them since leaving.

They were still allowing pickups though. My tracker's latest status is: Austin, TX, United States 09/24/2016 9:04 A.M. Destination Scan

I hope so! 801 Crew now part of the Ontario Mechanical Error crew; I am only 10 miles from the ONT HUB, Apple says delivery today, UPS says Monday.

Don't bother to wait at the UPS CC. I was there at 10 AM this morning and they told me that they don't have sorters working there on Saturdays and there's no way they could locate packages arrived this morning. I was furious and called UPS when I got home.

The UPS supervisor told me that regardless of whether you requested a hold at the CC, all iPhones are being delivered today as quickly as they can. This was an arrangement between Apple and UPS. Now I'm just sitting at home waiting for the UPS delivery.

Just tried calling and couldn't get through either. Hopefully they actually received the stuff there by now considering they close in an hour.

I just got through. The rep said that the package is there but since I requested for pickup, it's in a trailer and that it won't be ready for pickup until Monday. FML

Hey I live in LA 801 crew is this true even though it says the scheduled delivery day is Monday now? Thanks for the info!
