It's not, they need stock in stores for people who are new to iPhones.

I was able to walk into t-mobile 2 weeks ago and get a MB 7 128gb.
The issue I'm referring to here is Jet Black 7+, not the other colors.

The fact that a large number of early A.M. Preorders are still waiting for the same phone that is now in stores is very odd (at best).

That's great for you guys!

But it really is ridiculous that there's ANY available inventory of the JB 7+ that didn't go to preorders first.

I agree. Had a nightmare situation before I got so lucky. Camped out at the att store on release day after being told they had 7+ matte black. However, when they opened their were no matte blacks. Ordered a jb since I would have to wait. Found this site & learned about istock then target. Thats when my luck changed. When I went to the store I camped out at to trade in my old phone I was told they had 5 mb 7+ on release day but the employees snatched them up! I just wanted to let people know that there is more than 1 way to get what you want when you want it. Good luck to all!

I have a question for all the pre order iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black, what does your delivery date shows and has there been any delay if any?

---

@Hubson83 Buddy I understand your frustration but I guess our delivery dates are not too far anymore. We have waited for a long time and I'm sure we can now pull it off for the next 10 odd days. It's a waste of time to figure out what Apple is doing and why. Beyond our control. And even if we do understand, we still can't do anything about it.

I woke up and preordered minutes after it opened. I had a Sept. date for delivery on a Jet Black 7+. I had to cancel that one because of the delivery address and AT&T not allowing me to change it. I reordered and had a Nov. ship date. I happened to see the post about istock on Friday and checked Sat morning at 5am when I got up for work. There were Jet Black 7+s everywhere. I reserved one, cancelled my pre-order during the day, and picked it up in store after work... More than a month before my ship date.

To add... I reserved through IUP, but used ATT Next to pay in store. I was also unsure if they would let me do that so I bought a JB 7 to pick up in store. They were nice, refunded the JB 7, and let me buy the JB 7+.

Yep. This is the last time I preorder from Apple. I ordered within half an hour of preorders opening and my phone Jet Black 128 Plus will finally get here on Thursday. Meanwhile, the same exact model has been available in local stores for more than a week. They seem to be treating apple.com orders as second class citizens.

At least you know when it's coming.

Many of us have been staring at "Still Processing" for the better part of 40 days...

Guys one thing

Has your delivery date changed before and what's the delivery dates you have been given by Apple?
Since day 1 it has said 10/18-10/31 and hasn't changed.

To be fair, they haven't yet made bad on the delivery dates given (but getting close). BUT, the point still stands that the exact model I've ordered at :34 on 9/9 is now available in stores.

For those of us that are waiting on Jet Black - 128GB models and are in the 10/18 - 10/31 batch, have any you been charged? I was charged over a week ago and it's still stuck in processing.

This sucks.

That's just terrible, IMO, for any company to take your money and then not provide any insight on when you can expect your end of the bargain...

I think you are going to get it between the last days of your delivery dates range, my delivery dates range is 10/14-10/27 and my CC is still not charged, as far as I know it takes about 5 business days from shipped status to delivery status, so, if I would receive it on 10/27 then my CC would be charged on 10/20 and between 10/20 and 10/21 the status would change to PFS and Shipped, otherwise my order would be delayed, I don't know if there were some delays on those 7+ JB 128Gb already.

Have you contact Apple Service Center?

Your case we have still not come across. May be it's not updated in the system but it's already shipped.

Quick question.

I reserved online on Sep 29th a new 7 Plus 256GB Black AT&T model with the iUP plan, item is still in processing. Expected shipping is 28th Oct approx.

Anyway I've been checking istocknow daily, and finally today one shows up at my local store. So I jumped on it and made a reservation for this evening.

What is the best way to cancel the existing online order, before I head to my local store this evening or should i wait until I get to the store ?

Thanks.

Wait until you get to the store and confirm that they do still have it. Then cancel your pre-order

Did you sign up iUP on apple.com? You should be able to cancel the order. Definitely wait but I'd do it sooner as it can take a while to get your e-mail confirmation of the cancellation of the order.

Yes when I did the original order with Apple it was with the iUP selection. This loan was swiftly approved without issue.

I guess I will wait until I get to the store before doing anything. I will just show the Apple Store guy my loan approval and precious order. If he needs to run the loan again then that's ok with me.

I think you should first visit the store. See if everything is going according to the plan. When all ok, just before the final call, you can cancel the order. This would be the safest bet!

I want to know that anybody's order has been DELAYED by any chance?

Yes more than likely they will have to run the loan again and cancel out the old.
