It says you have to do T-Mobile in store.. Can you still reserve one online to pickup in store?

I thought I heard that getting up at 3am Eastern time on Friday was not going to be necessary to preorder. Last time I tried to preorder I was about 25 minutes after 3 and it was already too late.

Question - I have an iPhone 6S+ I ordered through Apple last September. But I am on the ATT Upgrade plan. I assume I can upgrade through Apple again this year, even though I am using the ATT program?

Thanks in Advance..

My advise is to try to buy a iPhone 7 - then just save it as a favorite. It lets you get thru the purchase but because it's not preorderable yet, won't let you check out.

You can also test by trying to buy a 6s.

Is the 256GB iPhone 7 going to cost the same as the 128GB iPhone 6S version or more? In the past they've upped the storage but kept the same prices so confused.

Looks like the 256 costs the same as the 128 last year.

128GB, Black, Plus. Still with the 6 Plus - seriously looking forward to the upgrade as this has been the longest I've kept a phone since the original iPhone launch!
same here , I am also shocked that my 64 gb memory is literally running out. I never thought I would run out of space. so the 128 gb would be ideal.

So is it better to pre-order for in store pick up or delivery? Will there be a huge line to pick up the phone in store launch day if you pre-ordered?

Or is delivery a guaranteed delivery date of the 16th?

The stores are always a mob scene on launch day. I'd much rather avoid that and have it delivered to my home. If you get your preorder in before they run out it will be delivered to your address on the launch date.

Sounds good. Historically how many minutes (or seconds) after 12:01 will they run out?

No one knows. Depends on what you order and from where.
If you want it on launch day, be prepared to sit waiting for the store to go live.
That said I've ordered my last to iPhones at launch and they both arrived on the day. I just spend about 5-10 minutes placing my order.
The one before that I went to the store for the launch. 4th in the queue. It was an experience, but never again.

Thanks for the info. 4.7" 128 black in Los Angeles...phone is favorited in the Apple Store app. Hopefully I get it in time. Been using an iPhone 5 for the past few months. The speed is killing me!

If your online when it goes live, you will be fine. 7+ 128gb black looks to be the most popular on here.

Anyone have any experience with changing the shipping address from the default address for iPhone preorders recently? Maybe on the 6s?

I'm on an AT&T family plan and have done the delivery preorder option a few times now. The problem is it defaults to the primary account holder's address, which is a few states away from me. For the 5 I was able to change the shipping address through UPS. For the 6 I wasn't able to change the shipping address.

I had this problem for the 6s pre-order last year, though it was to my parent's house 20 mins away lol. I went into AT&T and changed our account's primary address (to my address since my parent's don't have lives on our plan anymore, it was set up when I went to college), as well as the "home" address for each line on our account (to mine and my sister's respective addresses). We shall see what happens when pre-ordering starts, I suppose. I think that would do it, though. Try changing your address in AT&T and asking the chat folks if they can make sure the phone will be shipped to the address tied to your specific line.

Nope, I'm on the original phone i signed up with. I even went back and double checked my serial on the original receipt from apple., it's the same one. I'll try again later this evening.

Did you get this figured out? I had the same problem, after talking to someone at apple care it turns out it was showing as not enrolled because the phone didn't have apple care + (which it should have because I purchased through the iphone upgrade program)... anyway, during some automated process within their system, the apple care + got transferred to some other serial #. They corrected this and now I am showing as eligible. So for anyone having this issue, check your coverage to verify your apple care + was applied correctly...

if it's not, call apple
