You can check the upgrade eligibility for iPhone upgrade program here:

https://secure1.store.apple.com/shop/eligibility/checkUpgradeEligibility

But when i checked mine (i purchased iPhone 6 S Plus last year using iPhone Upgrade program) and it says I am not enrolled yet; not sure if this is a glitch or a bug but hope it will not stop me to pre-order tomorrow night.

This worked for me, but it says "currently unavailable" underneath each full price, which makes me think there's no way to select an iPhone Upgrade program price online.

Ok, after LOTS of try's and waiting.....I got onto Apple Chat. Yes the Apple Upgrade Program can be set up online. And yes, the phone can be shipped to you. No need to go into the store. YAY! :D

Oh i remember now: they replaced my phone few months back because of some issues and this serial number doesnt work but when i entered serial number from the receipt, it works and shows me eligible for upgrade and shows me pre-order message. Looks like i have to use old serial number for pre-order.

did you get a replacement for your phone after buying anytime last year?

this is what happened to me; my replacement serial number is not registered and my old serial number (from receipt) works and eligible for upgrade.

Nope, I'm on the original phone i signed up with. I even went back and double checked my serial on the original receipt from apple., it's the same one. I'll try again later this evening.

I want to preorder the 7 for pick-up at an Apple Store, but I had two questions. I did a search and I'm getting conflicting information:

1. Can I trade-in a device and use the trade-in value to reduce the price of the iPhone 7 when I pick it up on launch day?
2. I'm on T-Mobile. Can I do a monthly payment plan (with or without the TIV of my device factored into the price)?

Is this for new enrollees? I'm considering signing up for the first time and I'm trying to sort through whether I can do that online this Friday, and whether I'll need to make a store visit.

I plan on ordering 256GB black iPhone 7 Plus. First time using the Apple Upgrade program and switching from AT&T to T-Mobile. Guess I will have to make an appointment to go into the store.

If you are already enrolled in the program you gotta go to the store to get it. Here's what apples website says for me

Good news. You’re eligible for a new iPhone.*
You'll be upgrading from:

iPhone 6s
64GB
Space Gray
Serial Number: DNPxxxxxxxxx
Beginning September 9, you’ll be able to make a reservation online to upgrade at the Apple Store.
On the day of your appointment, just bring your current iPhone with you and check in with a Specialist to complete the upgrade process.
* Your final eligibility, including amount owed, will be validated when you
upgrade in the store.

Question: If I pre-order for a store pick up would I have to go early/wait in a huge line to get my phone? Or can I just stroll in after work and have my phone reserved and ready for me to just pick up and leave?

Scared of pre-ordering for delivery as the phones can be stuck in limbo somewhere as it has for many people in the past.

Which should I preorder first on Friday - the 7 Plus or Apple Watch S2 (i.e. which will be in higher demand?)
