When is the exact time to pre order? I always forget. Is it Friday at midnight pacific?

Thursday night/Friday morning at 12:01 am pacific. Odd timing. Wasn't last year's Friday night/Saturday morning at midnight pacific?

Per apple website now...

The iPhone Upgrade Program is the easiest way to get a new iPhone every year, and the security and protection of AppleCare+. You can purchase iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus with the iPhone Upgrade Program online or at an Apple Store. You cannot enroll in the program by calling Apple.

That's different this year!

Does anybody remember how late in the day apple offers the reservations on launch day? Hoping they have a 5 or 6pm reservation.

4.7" Jet Black 128gb... Probably. I'm hoping some of the people who have hands on time with the phones will see how easily the jet black shows scuffs and scratches. I may go matte black if it seems like it will look like garbage within a few weeks.

I was initially going to get the jet black 128GB iPhone 7 Plus but after seeing the warning on Apple's website, think I may switch to the regular black instead. The micro-abrasions would probably drive me crazy. I use my space gray 6s Plus with some normal clear cases and let it be free occasionally and it's held up really well. I've already been messing with the Apple Store app so that I'm familiar with it when Friday morning at 3:00am comes along. Did it this way last year and it seems to be easiest.

I'm on the fence if I want to go with the 32GB or 128 GB matte black. I am not happy that there is no wireless charging. I am confident that's coming next year and I will sell the 7 then so why do I need all that storage then? Apple was very forthcoming about the abrasion issue with the jet black so I won't get it. Come next year, there will be many jet blacks for sale with scuffs. I am not sure if that will cause the resale value to drop for that model.

Yeah, I know all Verizon Iphones come unlocked from the get go but it might not support some of T-mobile's LTE bands.

I'll probably just end up getting the T-mobile version.
I'm in a similar boat. I'd like the Verizon version because I THINK it will support the most number of networks and LTE bands, but it seems it may be hard to get the Verizon phone without having a Verizon account, plus, I'm with T-Mobile right now and I would really hate myself if the 4x4 MIMO only comes to the T-Mobile version for whatever reason.

I just like to have the option to use CDMA if things ever change in the future, and also for resale value. But I'm probably going to stay with T-Mobile so I might as well just make things easy on myself and get the T-Mobile version.

Has anyone asked the question: how will we be able to charge our phones AND listen to music at the same time?
Bluetooth headphones or wait until Apple (or someone else) manufactures a lightning splitter.

Personally I do not understand why (if we still have to) go into the store?! Currently the Apple Upgrade Program is available online. There are many ways to buy things online without having to show some store clerk your ID! Seems weird that we could not set up the Upgrade Plan online and they ship the phone to you. I'd ask Apple but their chat is unavailable because it's so busy :(

I really hope it can be done online....and no need to go into the store. Hopefully we can get a solid answer on that before Pre-Order time!

I spoke to apple today and they said it can be done online.

I don't understand what you're saying...

Last I checked, the Verizon iPhone 6S/6S Plus and T-Mobile iPhone 6S/6S Plus supported the same identical bands. They were the same identical phones that, if unlocked, would work with all bands on Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

Torn between the black and jet black options. Leaning jet black since it'll have a case on it and it's mad sexy, but also don't want it to look awful when I take the case off.

Definitely going 7 Plus, 128 GB.
This is completely my dilemma. Not sure if I want matte or jet black but I use a case and will have the phone for a year... so who knows!
