I think they are going in batches, or one by one
 
I'd hate to be an EE rep, or any phone CS person for that matter, right now. They must be getting hammered on the phones ever since Friday.
 
Also, thinking about it, what are EE defining as a pre-order? Technically any phone ordered before this Friday is a pre-order, so... they're all shipping by the 16th? I think not...

Well I caught all of you with emails and texts from Very with changed dates, but my order is still showing as delivery on Saturday. Ordered 7+ 128gb Black.

Might as well leave it as its on account and I haven't actually paid any money.
 
It's annoying how much conflicting evidence there is. Earlier, I was told my specific phone was just awaiting pickup from DPD, but I haven't got the text that others have got.
 
I think it's safe to assume that EE CS have no knowledge about what's happening with consignments. They'll likely have a simple script to stick to, some will go off-script, but generally they won't. At least DPD are one of the most reliable couriers around to be fair. Once it's in their hands, I trust them.

No text here (matte black plus 32GB) but didn't order until Saturday evening and had to call and confirm some details which was done on Sunday morning.

Annoying if they're not processing once the order it confirmed "due to demand" as that's not really fair. Especially for those of you who ordered Friday.

I'm going to go bed now and I'll be away from my phone all day tomorrow so lets hope I have a surprise text in the morning or during my lunch break.
 
How about we get a list which people can copy and paste and update with texts etc? See if we can spot a pattern
