What an absolute shambles. If that is genuinely true, EE or Apple, have massively messed this up. EE CS have promised countless times that Plus orders will be available tomorrow so...

I'm not expecting mine as I ordered late, but for the rest of you, I wish you luck and hope that this particular CS employee is making s**t up like the others.

I just spoke to EE. Ordered iPhone 7+ jet black 256Gb at 08:13 last Friday. Was told definitely available launch day.
Just been told order is still open and not been picked so unlikely for tomorrow and could take up to two weeks for delivery.

Wow, so, again... Massive win to their CS team. I know it's not their fault that inventory isn't great, but seriously, don't overpromise – especially on a launch day

If it's not been picked yet then it sounds like to me, they have no stock, now I ordered the iPhone 7 at the same time as you except 128GB. I wonder if Apple have fallen short on stock due to the demand?

I guess the issue for CS is they are just relaying information they are told, and at the time, they were probably told one thing, everything will be launch day.

Note: I use to work in CPW and I was that CS at one point, it was ****.

my OH's account has updated to new plan, mine is still on same SIM only plan. She ordered Matt Black 32gb iPhone, I ordered iPhone 7+ 32gb Gold

Looks like I am going to have to wait doesn't it :(

I know the feeling. I used to work in Apple Retail and did all the launches from the iPhone 4s until the 6 so I've experienced some of the horrendous launch day issues and been fed the verbal b******t that you have to spew back to each customer who can't get what they want.

I think so :(
[doublepost=1473940509][/doublepost]At least EE have our upfront payments to help the Exec's get their handsome bonuses for a "successful" launch-day (too bitter?)

I recieved an email on the 11th (2 days after pre-order) stating...

Depending on stock levels, delivery can sometimes take a little longer than expected, but we will let you know by email if this happens.

If I don't recieve a text saying it's on it's way or an email saying it is going to be delayed, I will be highly p***** to say the least o_O

Looks like a bit of an Apple Watch balls up to me
I ordered the Watch at 8.02 on pre order day got email confirmation stating launch day delivery and had to wait 2 weeks after to get it while a mate ordered his 4 days after me and got it on launch day.
I don't understand how apple cant realise there is goona be high demand and have Enuff stock available I mean "better looking at it than looking for it" .....

Just got a call from local store. My pluses won't be there. Typical.

I too was guaranteed irrefutably launch day delivery.

I can only blame the upper management for this. They've overpromised, set the wrong expectations, briefed their CS teams badly and let everyone loose with terrible canned responses that mean nothing to anyone. Might go back to buying the phone outright in the future (not that it seems any better this year...)

My jet black arrives supposedly 4th october after ordering from ee yesterday for the matte black version and they said i'm looking at 28 days.

Just spoken to CS rep, he said he is going to 'go out on a limb' and say he cant see my Plus being with me tomorrow...I asked if that was just mine or anyone's, he replied 'anyone's' - god knows but he did say that they may deliver on Saturday.

He literally just let it slip no stock is coming in as well then changed the conversation

Well after i called EE and changed the colour of my 7 Plus yesterday,
Gold to jet Black,
I was expecting to go to the back of the line,
Just had my text from DPD to say it will be delivered tomorrow, :)
Also had an email from EE confirming my order for Jet Black has been processed.:D

I was told EE orders don't get delivered on weekends, but I know for a fact DPD deliver both sat and sun! Pfft.
