Just watched this. That Jet Black looks like the 5c's in black...plasticy. IMO Matte Black wins.
Order 2 128gb iPhone 7+ Gold, got charged last night around 8 pm. One of them has popped up in UPS mychoice, so I will be receiving that package Friday.
It weighs 2.4 pounds, so I wonder if it is both phones together. What does everybody else's weigh?
Also, I placed the order around 10 am est 9/9, and was in the late Sept to early Oct window.

why is it that I was told I'd get my phone on release day when I ordered it and now my account says sept 27th- oct 10th? and I have no charge for the phone yet. this is maddening... don't understand why the date is different then the one stated by the mobile rep
I think that's both of them together. I have 5 phones that have "shipped" and 3 packages coming from UPS. Two packages are 1.2lb and one is 2.9lb One of those boxes has to have 3 phones in it, I think it's pretty obvious it's the 2.9lb one.

Manly yes. However, offers great protection without it being too bulky. Plus the matte black color of the case matches the phone

Just from seeing everyone's responses and it looking like some phones are shipping before others even if the order was placed earlier, this looks exactly like what happened with the iPhone 6 and I think a lot of us will end up with them on Friday without any updates to the order pages.
crazy, I'm going to be pretty ticked if it doesn't get shipped here fairly quickly. doubtful I'd get it by friday even if it got charged today
That's ok. I get confused with other people because I've read so much. I ordered the 7plus black 32gb on 9/9 at 10:15 AM. No info at all and reps say the date is still the same
I just got a message from T-Mobile "Great news, we're ready to process your trade-in for your iPhone 7 order! You'll need to contact us anytime between 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. PST at 1-844-233-6086 to complete the trade-in."
What? I never mentioned that I was going to trade in". Anyone else got a similar message? I ordered the 7+ JB 256 GB. No charge yet to the CC. I will call now to find out what is going on.

So you ordered around the same time as me. I would assume you will get the phone Friday, but the only catch is that you got a matte black, which is in high demand. That being said, there are several planes landing tonight. I say there is a really good chance for you.
Plus, if by chance you don't get it Friday, I would bet on next week easily. There has been no word of supply constraints on the normal black, just jet.

Then I think you are highly likely to get it Friday. A lot of people on reddit with your exact phone are seeing their phones ship.
