I posted this in another thread but curious to hear from people who have phones already, how were yours delivered?

I got one of my phones yesterday and have to say I'm pretty disappointed. Not sure if I should blame Tmo or UPS but the phone was left on my sidewalk next to my house, IN THE RAIN, wrapped in a plastic bag. I'm glad I live in a quiet neighborhood because the box was not a standard brown unmarked box, it was a TMOBILE marked box with IPHONE 7 printed easily viewable on it. I had assumed it would be a 'signature required' delivery for something that is worth over $900!

If you live in a busy area you may want to make sure to take the day off or ask ups to hold it or something, I really can't believe this is how they are being delivered.
Or if you a scammer you can you can finesse T-Mobile into 2 iPhones when they get "lost".... stay blessed and smart ppl

Just got a call from a rep... not good news. They first asked how I've been liking my service and I told them great. He then went on to tell me sorry but even tho my 3 MB 7+'s (2 32GB & 1 128GB) are estimated to ship between 9/27-10/10, that they're super back ordered and I'm most likely not getting them until November????? This rep randomly called me and I never set up any inquiries or anything so they have to be serious... but he did say it could change. If this is the case I'm canceling and ordering silver....

T-Mobile clearly prioritizes orders for new customers. They did that to me last time, now I am on the other side and have to pay back. I have the exact same order, 10 min earlier than you. Stil lno charge, no notification, nothing.

Do they? I ordered on 9/11 (see my sig) and haven't heard a peep. Shipping dates 11/1-11/30. And no Jet Black in my order.

i know tmobile website is update because I just recieved my tmobile bill but my order is still "being processed" i ordered an iphone 7 plus 128gb black at 2:00 AM CST and i have yet heard anything yet

my estimated shipping date is 9/19 - 9/26, i have not yet been charged.

This makes sense seeing as how my phone was delivered so soon.

No device/tracking number yet, but what put me on it (if it exists) was that the system literally would not let my order go through (thrice by phone, twice in store even after a rep called technical support to push it through, and even the order with executive response almost didn't work). They noted that I'd been trying to place an order since literally midnight launch day, but their system screwed JOD customers, so they tried to make it right.
I called at 11:58 had the first rep hang up on me after an hour of wait time then called again another hour of wait time spent two hours on the line with that rep to get my order through my mate black 32Gb+ went through and signed at 331 am but people who ordered hours later have their device already while I've had no movement on my order

I had ordered iPhone 5c for my gf. USPS was chosen as the last mile delivery by UPS. They left the phone outside her building's main door because they didn't have gate code. The phone was stolen by the time she returnd from work. I filed an insurance complaint with USPS and they sent me a check of $152.

One of key things fueling this demand has actually nothing to do with iPhone. The #Uncarrier brought back subsidy-era pricing by free iPhone promo and all other carriers jumped in. Again, if you read analysts reports, nobody actually expected this to happen because carriers were *very* happy living out of the subsidy world since they were enjoying record high profits. So no one had reason to suspect that they would dive right back in this world. What John Legere and co. started soon was copied by others, pehaps as a defensive move. But none of them knew that the response would be this big and backfire them- 4x for T-Mobile and Sprint. (There's a reason why they are now allowing only ONE customers after Sep 15th. They have to find an escape hatch).

Completely agree with this. I know I wasn't planning to upgrade, until I saw this offer, as I am currently using a 6S Plus 128, that's been working great. And neither was my dad who is on my Tmobile account. But, I had a paid off iPhone 6 sitting in a drawer unused, that would be worth maybe $200-250 (if I'm lucky, after all the fees/etc) on ebay, but Tmobile wanted to give me $650 for it. It was a no-brainer for me personally. So, yes, I think this was a major cause to the effect of a shortage everywhere (not the only cause, but definitely a big one).

The exec team member that called me just told me that. They are so overwhelmed with people switching from other carriers, their normal way of business is taking care of them first. But they had over 700K people move over, and overwhelmed that system.

He ASSured me that since I was so early, (within 3 mins) I'm in the next group, and he's CONFIDENT It'll ship by Thursday. that being said...we got no inventory of 7+ 256 or 128's in our possession.

So...last year with these idiots.
So what's your model and shipping dates ?

Order date/time?

Hmm you don't have a signature but your order at least has much later dates. Mine was exact same order AND 10 min earlier. Of course I don't have a proof that they do but would help explain a lot discrepancies. Even if they do, it doesn't look like they do a good job at that too!

Hope you see some kind of movement soon. Even with the pending CC charge, I'm cautiously optimistic. There seems to be no logic behind how this is all going down.

I do wonder if location has anything to do with it. In all honesty, I don't even think a prioritized list exists—least of all for JOD customers—so there has to be some other rhythm to their logic. Obviously chronological ain't it...

700k new subs? As if their service wasn't spotty to begin with, they'll now say sorry our cell service sucks but we are overwhelmed from all these subs. Guess anytime I am the same place as 4 tmobile users I shouldn't be shocked my service blows.

The hype is over for me on this. Think I'll just pay off my 6s and research my options on what makes the most sense for my money.

Bought a 7+ black 256GB at 11:56 pacific time 9/8/16. Confirmation email and EIP done by 12:04am pacific time 9/9/16. Shipping range is still 9/19-9/26, no charge whatsoever. I feel like getting the order in and completed that early should guarantee an earlier ship date. The fact that I didn't even get a shipping date that included launch day was an indicator that I'm likely not getting it for a few weeks.

With that logic though, then my wife's 128 gig Rose Gold 7+ should not have been shipped already and she got hers on launch day.. and I'm still sitting here like.. where's my phone..

Now that I think about I didn't have to sign for my iPhone 6s+ last year. Luckily I got off early that day and sat home until UPS pulled up. That's something we need to complain to T-Mobile about. It should've been in a unmarked box at least.

I just don't understand how it's okto just leave a $900 device sitting outside.

Yes my original date was 9/27-10/10. Phone was delivered yesterday.

This also happened to me which makes me not trust the dates on the site at all. The original CS rep told me not to expect anything until november and it shows up yesterday. Still no word on my matte black phone though, clearly some colors are in higher demand and/or lower supply.

Thanks for the update. I know what to do now if get a call from them. Did they at least offer you any credits?

My son's 7 matte black 32gb just shipped last night and will arrive today. Had a 9/26 estimate originally. So hopefully my 7+ matte 32gb will be a surprise shipment too? (not terribly hopeful)

Lucky you were able to traverse T-Mobiles crappy site that evening. Not even 5 minutes after it started (12am PST) the site crashed a bunch. Then for a part of time there was not even an option for matte black 128gb.

Back when I went through this with the iphone 5s things worked a hell of alot better on the site and I got my black 32gb phone on release day.

There must be just an insane amount of folks who ordered this time around.
