I wonder how orders for multiple iPhone models is handled (on one order)?

I ordered
2 black iPhone 7, 128GB
1 Rose Gold iPhone 7, 128GB
1 black iPhone 7+, 128GB

For instance, it seems that the backlog for the 128GB 7+ in black has unjammed this week. And people were getting 128GB 7 in black last week. The Rose Gold 7 128GB has been scheduled to ship 9/27-10/10.

So do they "hold" the phones for an order as they become available until entire order can ship? Because the likelihood of all 3 models being in stock at the same time seems unlikely! Would hope phones get set aside for each order (based on order date of course).

ok people.... RECAP.

A lot of people are getting tracking and CC charged for the MB 128GB IP7+.

No one has gotten an email updated EIP or JOD information. If you don't get this email you don't have a phone yet. (BUT T-Mobile systesm maybe very slow because they are using a "****" system. so take this with a grain of salt.:)

The part about not receiving an updated EIP email may not necessarily be true. I just went back through my emails from last year's launch and never received an email with an updated EIP. I have the email with the original EIP when I placed the order and then nothing else until I received an email stating that they received my trade-in phone and the credit was applied. My order for the 7+ has been marked as shipped on T-Mobile but the only email I've received from them was from this morning regarding an updated return date for my old device (I ordered using the original JUMP!, which effectively is EIP).

When did you order?

Also, I don't know if anyone else can confirm this, but I feel like we did have a run of people get charged (and had their phones delivered) for the 32GB MB 7+
I ordered on 9/13, so not expecting anything so soon, but waiting till November seems really long.

I was told they hold until all phones are available in the order.

That is very strange. Did you buy your phone out right?

I ordered two iPhone 7's this year, one of which already arrived. Both were on EIP, with the trade-in deal. I only received one EIP on 9/9 per phone, specifically no updated EIP for the 7 that already arrived.

I did not receive an updated JoD contract for my 6s preorder last year, either.

I really wonder when these Jet Black models are going to start moving...apparently they are moving nicely for Apple directly at this point...

I would've ordered directly from Apple if I could do the EIP through their website. You tend to get the iPhones faster.

Funny how perspectives can change—the reverse was generally true for the iPhone 6 launch, and possibly for the 6s launch (which I didn't follow closely).

It will look something like this... This was from my last iPhone 6s

Yeah it's important to note that not all matte black 7+ 128s were charged yesterday. I'm in the 9/27-10/10 window with no updates.

Mine is also in the 9/27-10/10 window and no charge yet. If only one could decipher how they process the orders and in what order. I have seen people order later than me and had gotten charged.
