Well, just finally got off the phone with the supervisor from T-Mo. Bottom line is that after they told me that I had to split up my iPhone order (to get one now while I wait on the other) and that I would absolutely not lose my place in line. Well, I did in fact lose my place in line and there is nothing they can do to change that.

My new estimated shipping date for the 7+ 128 GB Black is now Dec 1-15. Un****ingbelieveable. They did give me a $59 credit on my monthly phone bill for the inconvenience. But when you think about it, we're talking 3 months from now to get the phone and that basically makes me keep the iPhone an additional 3 months if I want to realize the full value of the trade-in promo they are offering since those credits are spread out across 24 months. So even with a token $59 credit, T-Mobile is still coming out ahead.

Thanks to their broken promise, I will now be the last one standing in this thread as I wait up to 3 months for my iPhone.

I have been watching this thread the whole time and just now created an account, lol.
Anyways, I ordered 7+ matte black, 32GB. I placed the order on 9/9 @ 3:30 am. I haven't seen any movement what so ever. My estimated shipping dates are 9/27-10/10.
I am a JOD, so won't have a charge to look for.

After tons of back and forth with exec response team it seems their only damage control is more vague estimations of shipment dates and statement credits.

It doesn't make me want to switch, it just tells me I have to order thru apple if I want my phone as early as possible.
Yeah, honestly you can't beat T-Mobile's prices. Yes service can be spotty sometimes but between cellular and wifi, I always have a connection. And I have unlimited data high speed no throttle limit. Which is amazing! I have seriously used over 20GB of data in a month easily. I use my phone to research A LOT of stuff and I do love T-Mobile for that. I will just sell my iPhone on the internet next time and buy a new one through Apple.

When did you place your order? I'm starting to think it doesn't matter. It's just like they're sending out as many of whatever type they get in with little regard of what place in line you are.
I would think so too. As many of us who have either JB or the larger 256 iPhones ordered before many others who ordered after us and they have their phones already.

as bad as that is, trust me, you will not be getting it in december. something like this always happens every year. you will get yours in october. remember, they are making and shipping out new phones every day. you will get yours way sooner than you think.
also, since tmobile screwed you over, message them on chat and insist on a monthly credit for being given bad advice. you may walk away with a cheaper phone bill. or maybe work your magic enough to get that hd pass for free on your phone. if you keep insisting, you'll get something for free or a credit. i do it all the time when amazon.com screws up my order somehow. :)

Was hesitant to share this before just because of the order #s being in the document but I have edited the last 3 digits of all the order numbers to prevent from anyone getting the full data. You can still see the patterns in the order #s as the last 3 numbers did not make any difference due to the volume of orders.

If you have a MYUPS account, check it. On t-mobile's site, it still shows as being processed. However, in myups, I have a tracking # for today's delivery.

Yep, I'll pay full price and enjoy my shiny iPhone on launch.

If you did that, you wouldn't get the benefit of the iPhone on us promotion. Assuming you could sell your old phone for $250 on eBay after fees, you'd rather pay $400 more for your new phone just to have it earlier vs waiting a few extra days/weeks? I'm having trouble understanding this train of thought. Wouldn't you rather spend the extra $400 on something else?

for the people who ordered a plus in the newest colors. I mean we had to know there would be a wait right?;)
