Well, just finally got off the phone with the supervisor from T-Mo. Bottom line is that after they told me that I had to split up my iPhone order (to get one now while I wait on the other) and that I would absolutely not lose my place in line. Well, I did in fact lose my place in line and there is nothing they can do to change that.

My new estimated shipping date for the 7+ 128 GB Black is now Dec 1-15. Un****ingbelieveable. They did give me a $59 credit on my monthly phone bill for the inconvenience. But when you think about it, we're talking 3 months from now to get the phone and that basically makes me keep the iPhone an additional 3 months if I want to realize the full value of the trade-in promo they are offering since those credits are spread out across 24 months. So even with a token $59 credit, T-Mobile is still coming out ahead.

Thanks to their broken promise, I will now be the last one standing in this thread as I wait up to 3 months for my iPhone.

I am sure it won't be that long. But for the frustration, don't stop at $59. Bug them enough and the will give you much better deal than this. You just have to keep bugging. If they don't budge, ask for retention department. Crib and complain there. They usually have more leeway. Also tweet @johnlegere on important tweets/announcements. Yes you probably won't get your phone any sooner now than you would have if you had not cancelled but don't let this opportunity go to waste.

I would think so too. As many of us who have either JB or the larger 256 iPhones ordered before many others who ordered after us and they have their phones already.
I can personally attest to that. I placed the order for my wife's several hours after mine and hers is already out for delivery. The only difference between the two is hers is matte and mine is jet

Okay everyone who is not charged yet. Keep an eye out and even put an alert feature on your credit card to notify you when it is charged (we need to see if T-Mobile will be doing any charges today), and considering a lot of people are not gone from here because they were already charged, it is up to us to gauge this.

HOPE FOR THE BEST TODAY!

Same boat as you. Haven't gotten anything. 32 Black Plus with shipping date of 9/27- 10/10

Hey buddy friendly advice regarding your username. I totally get where you are coming from (look at my signature). But if you are planning to stick around at this wonderful forum with these awesome people after pre-order, please file a request to get it changed sooner than later. (It gets harder the longer you stick around)

- Your well wisher

This is excellent advice, for those who will take it. I'm paying a stupid amount of money for the service I'm receiving, I expect tmobile to jump when I say jump or I'll jump right over to verizon or at&t... but not sprint, I'm not a masochist.

Jon from techno Buffalo said it's not as easy as it used to be. He says it has to be activated on Sprint first, then unlocked, then you can pop your T-Mobile sim in.

Switched SIMs and within 1 minute I was on the TMO network with my phone number all set. Maybe because I bought it unlocked? I can see if you need to request an unlock from Sprint, but so far so good. Now restoring from backup.

Matte Black looks so good...just seems glass melts into the bezels

Yeah, honestly you can't beat T-Mobile's prices. Yes service can be spotty sometimes but between cellular and wifi, I always have a connection. And I have unlimited data high speed no throttle limit. Which is amazing! I have seriously used over 20GB of data in a month easily. I use my phone to research A LOT of stuff and I do love T-Mobile for that. I will just sell my iPhone on the internet next time and buy a new one through Apple.

I currently have a grandfathered AT&T unlimited account and typically top out at 100 GB/month over 2 lines. Hopefully this move to T-Mobile's ONE plan won't screw me over. My brother in law does however use around 2TB a month on Verizon's unlimited plan and never gets throttled.

As someone has pointed out, I think that's only when you by the phone locked to Sprint. If you buy it at full price from Apple Store but the Sprint version, you don't have to active it with Sprint since it comes unlocked out of the box. My friend at work did that as part of his IUP. He's on ATT but he bought Sprint phone and it workd out fine.
