Mine was received by UPS last night at 11:36pm..... it is on the truck for delivery today. You need to stop quoting this article. All of us ordered our phones before 2 pm yesterday. That article applies to orders placed day of. It has been proven wrong in the preorder process several times....

Call Apple back and ask to speak with a senior advisor. You were provided incorrect information. I would also suggest if you restored from backup to attempt a recovery restore in iTunes and setup as new to rule out any software

so if we get charged today- we wont see our phones until Monday right? maybe even Tuesday? :mad:
is there a way that we can schedule a pickup with UPS for Saturday?

Or go to the Apple Store. They keep reserves in non retail packaging in case phones are dead on arrival in the stores. They even have the reserves before launch day. if there is an issue with a phone they simply walk to the back and produce a new phone. The store was out of stock of phones for sale yet produced a warranty phone for myself on last launch. Brand new. Mine had a blemish.

Yes. Believe or not there's a link that works and a link that doesn't work.

On the Google search results try different links. I found the "correct" link by searching that error on the Apple forums/reddit.

Also, I'd recommend geting a Verizon/Sprint phone since it will have both CDMA/GSM standards available. I think it might make a small difference in a year with resale values since TMobile/ATT phones can't be used on Verizon or Sprint.

When did you get charged? I got charged on wednesday, received notification that a label was created Wednesday night at 10:35pm but UPS website still doesn't show any movement and still says "Order processed: ready for UPS". Wtf!

Awesome, thank you so much!! I was able to reserve a silver 32GB Verizon model. Hopefully they won't give me trouble since I'm not a Verizon customer, and I'd like to do one payment only.

No problem! There shouldn't be any issues if you're planning on paying outright for the device.

Phone is out for delivery! Went to bed last night thinking I wouldn't get it until Monday since UPS My Choice still showed "Ready for UPS" since I got charged on Tuesday. T-Mobile took their time getting the order to UPS, but UPS did their origin scan at 1:15 AM last night in Louisville, and is out for delivery this morning! UPS is on the ball. Can't say the same about T-mo...

Yes for the RG, haven't seen too many say they ordered this particular color and capacity. So I was sure it would come sooner. Bummer

My wife set the phone up as new the first time. Should I still try a restore? If the problem persist what # should I call. I called AppleCare the first time.
