Checking back in after being banned from the forum for a few days (apparently suggesting that someone get help for OCD is a bannable offense).

So... I still have no movement for my JB+128 9/19-9/26 ordered at 12:04am. I am so done with T-Mobile... as soon as it comes in... I am unlocking the phone and taking it to AT&T! At least next year, when the next iPhone comes out, I'll have the option of ordering it on Apple.com through Next program.

I've been lurking through the 600+ pages, so I joined to tell my story on this.

I switched over to T-Mobile when the iPhone 6 came out. Started with Jump! Had an iPhone 5s at the time. When the "pre-order" started for the iPhone6, called in at 3:00 am EST, placed an order for two iPhone 6+ models, thought all was good. Never got an EIP to sign. Contacted T-Mobile. Found the reservation system had crashed, my orders were never placed. Got real PO'ed and contacted customer retention. After working my way up to a supervisor, I was comped two free iPhone 6+ 64GB models. I was thrilled! So I had to wait - who cared - I got two free phones. T-Mobile really impressed me. Probably should have stopped right there.

When the iPhone 6s came out, again I played the sheep, stayed up late, placed an order for two iPhone 6s+ models. All was good. Uh oh, no EIP again. And this was when they were offering a 7 dollar credit per month on the new phone if ordered by a certain date. Contacted T-Mobile again. Was told I missed the promo since my order did not go through. Pitched another fit, got the 7 dollar a month credit per phone, and got a $50 credit per phone on my bill. Reordered, got placed at the back of the line. Moved to Jump on Demand.

So I guess the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So with the iPhone 7 release, I was again insane. But I have moved to Tucson, so right now I am in Pacific Time Zone and didn't have to stay up too late, at least I thought. So "pre-order" day comes around, I again call in to do a JOD upgrade. First I am told it will cost $20 per phone for them to "assist" me with my order. I told them no, allow me to order JOD upgrades online, no need for their assistance. So they waive the fee. Then I stay on the phone with the representative while she tries to order the phones NINE times! Finally she gets an order through. What happens next? You guessed it - order never went through. No EIP. Forced to reorder. New shipping date for iPhone 7+ JB 256GB 11/01-11/30. Swell. I did get a $100 credit on my account.

So here's what I get out of this. Calling the call center for T-Mobile at 12:00AM PST is a waste of time. Wait for the east coast personnel to get in at 7 AM EST and then try to place an order. It will go through. I have no faith in whoever or wherever the personnel are that take the initial orders overnight. T-Mobile needs to move JOD to online ordering. The phone crap just doesn't work well.

Thanks for reading! Tom

This is pretty much what happened to me. Cept it wasn't quite 9 times, but yeah, the people on the phone are undertrained and incompetent. They're who screwed up everyone's orders. Super frustrating that for a telecom company that provides internet, they can't even handle keeping their own website up so their customers can order things properly... Really boggles my mind.

Just went in and picked up a 128GB iP+ MB with GSM/CDMA available at an Apple store :)

Good luck with the logistical nightmare involved with upgrading iPhones with T-Mobile
Thanks Bernie now piss off!
