What we need to do is create a poll or something so we can see how many people in what delivery range have received what phone...
Make no mistake...there's a hiss when the phone is doing a lot (like enough to make back get rather warm)

That being said, you need to hold it to ear to hear....like, you gotta be a nut if this bothers you. Oh wait, I'm with fellow apple fans!

Waiting to see what shakes out. Not enough to bother me yet, hardly ever hold phone backwards to ear, ya know? Suppose if it bled into some sort of staring/silent game I was doing on FaceTime it would be a hassle.
Have they determined any actual issue leading from this, or is it just the noise?
Like it's not a tiny snake that's going to crawl out into your ear and lay eggs in your brain or something like that....

its an issue with the A10 processor. apple recommends to replace the phone based off earlier reports.

A lot of people on the the thread here on the issue said that their 6s+ can also make the noise but at a much lower volume than the new iphone. Who knows what it is but quite a few on there have said it existed. I didn't think such a thing was real and I can't hear it on my 6s+

Processors don't make noise lol
I wouldn't go so far as to say that, they are technically resonating on a clock cycle and that does produce noise in digital form. It is only being output by a device that can make the sound it is picking up. The processsor causes the sound, but it's not making it.

Hey guys looking for a little guidance here as I've never done this before.

I'm a current TMO customer and I'm looking to upgrade to the 7 and trade in my 5s.

In the past, I would just outright buy the new iPhone to not have increased monthly bills.
The phone is now mine, unlocked, zero problems, and I just pay my monthly bill.

So If I am looking to upgrade and trade in my 5s, can I still purchase the phone in one payment or will TMO have me do monthly payments?

I just want to know so they don't give me the run around.

Thanks.

With all these reports of hissing noise and deliveries being delayed, i think i should just cancel my order...

...on second thought
