Yeah no, sometimes they'll suggest going through wherever you bought it originally and do a return- but you always have the option of a warranty replacement through Apple. My current 6s is a service replacement from Apple. People who worry about getting refurbs are ridiculous. Yes there are people out there who get a replacement that's a dud- but 99% of the time, it's because the "hardware" problem they thought they had, was actually software, and when they restore their backup to their new phone, the same problem comes right back.I thought if you purchase your phone through carrier and go to Apple within 14 days, they ask you to go through your carrier. Is that not the case? If not, great! Solves everything then!
