This is ridiculous. My device will be shipped after my monthly bill is due.

Do you know if I'll be forced to pay it before they ship/if they'll decline the order till payment is made?

More than likely you'll have to pay it. If you're upgrading from a device paying EIP then they'll credit your account any extra they owe from what you paid and how much your device is worth within 2-3 billing cycles.

From what I've seen on my account, my first payment for the phone is due Oct 22nd and my phone doesn't ship until the 25th. They are treating it as if I already have the phone. Sucks, but I don't want my order to get cancelled.

I ordered today and have a shipping date of 10/25-11/11. I'm not due to make any EIP payments until 12/2/16, but I'm going to make 2 payments next month so that by the time the iPhone 8 come out I can upgrade instead of waiting until November 2017.
 
i'm going to be livid if thats what happened to my order. I'll make sure they give me something in return for a mistake like that. as should you. talk to a supervisor, get them to compensate you for your time. maybe a monthly credit on your account, maybe a free hd pass on your lines, something. fight for it.
i know im going there as soon as im off work, im soooooo mad they did that

I was just charged at 2:27 Central Time.
Had followed this thread since last week. Here is what I've got.
7 Plus 32GB Matte Black ordered on 9/9 around 10:00 Central Time.
Expected ship day 9/27-10/10
It's been a while but at least it's within their promised window.

Now let's hope my other combined order of 7+ 128GB JB&RG will come sooner than 11/1-11/30

Ship window 9/27-10/10.

But please tell me again how they don't charge you until the planes get to Louisville, instead of Alaska.

This is the screenshot from my Apple Watch Series 2. I wasn't charged until it hit Louisville, KY and had an import scan. I'm assuming the same thing will happen when my 7+ ships.

T-Mobile executive relations called me earlier. I sent in an email last week saying I haven't gotten my iPhone yet and pre-ordering was awful. They offered me a $75 bill credit. So a free month of service helps ease the pain of not having my iPhone yet.

This should all be over by tomorrow and I'll disappear until next year. Got my wife on Neighborhood Watch for the UPS truck, ears to the door. I don't need a "one knock, they're not home" scenario, like she won't be blasting the latest MIA album, dancing around on her day off. Lol! I need all parties focused. Lol.

Can't wait to be able to have more then 7 apps and 1 picture stored on my phone and to test out this camera (and future software) on this beautiful island.
