Carrier iPhone 7/7+ T-Mobile Pre-Order Thread

Did you initiate the trade-in through the link on the iPhone 7 page or My T-Mobile? What did you apply the credit towards?
It asked me if I had a phone I wanted to trade in at the end of the order process. I assume it will automatically apply to my iPhone 7.
Oh, that makes sense. I didn't get that option for some reason, or I just didn't see it.
I was on JOD, T-force helped me pay off my balance, so I could get the trade up deal.
oh got yah. i was curious. someone earlier in the form they made the mistake and added another EIP instead of a JOD exchange. lol needless to say they got screwed for the phone. they are stuck in November for the iPhone.
Yeah, I was asking them why JOD customers were kind of getting screwed over with the iPhone 7 deal because my monthly payment for my phone would have gone from $18 a month to $27 a month with JOD upgrade. They offered me a credit to pay off most of my iPhone 6s, so I could get the iPhone 7 trade up deal.
My story:
I called T-Mobile at 11:55 PM to order 128 GB Black 7 Plus. I was her first customer and she was unable to place the order as she was getting errors. She tried 3 times and we were on call for 30 mins. We even tried from my laptop but no use. She told me that she will call me back when the system starts working properly. Since i was her first customer she said she would call me first.
So i disconnected the call and kept waiting. Since I did not get any call for 2.5 hours, i called the supoort myself to order the phone. The dude placed my order in 15 mins flat around 3 AM PST. I Signed the EIP immediately and received the confirmation as well. The shipping date estimate was 9/27 to 10/10 and it's still the same. My order is being processed now.
The lady customer rep did call me back but at 4:30 AM and I told her that I have already placed the order.
I don't know what she said after that as I was half dead.
My 2 cents: black/jet black/128 GB is the most popular combo that's why delivery dates have been pushed for people who ordered the phone even during the first few hours.

Really? I wish I could've done that. My bill is going to jump from two JoD 6s' @ $15/mo each to two 7s @ $27/mo each. Figured I might as well keep JoD for no upfront payment.
I have the iPhone 6s Plus and a galaxy s7. I use my iPhone for testing and my S7 for T-mobile. I did a JOD upgrade. they paid off my S7.
Mine was UPS Expideted earlier and now it says USPS Priority Mail... anyone else seeing this? Why would that change?
Yeah, the credit ended up being like $275, which is awesome. They told me it was because I've been a loyal customer for 11+ years.
They gave me 475 dollars to cover my JOD for my s7 so i was happy.
My shipping changed from USPS to UPS as well. But my estimated shipping date is still 10/26-11/11.

Hi, first time poster here.
I just ordered my iPhone 7 last night (128 gb Rose Gold) and am hoping to be able to get the trade in offer. I am actually at school in Nashville right now but my family lives in Miami. My mom has a 16 gb iPhone 6 and I was planning on trading in my current 64 gb iPhone 6 in order to get the offer until I realized that the cost will end up being the same whether the 16 or 64 gb is traded in.
So, if I want to trade in my mom's 16 gb instead, do you guys think that would be possible? So I could then give her my 64 gb so she has some more space? What I am thinking as of now is upon receiving the iPhone 7 I ship my current 6 to my mom, and then I have her go to the tmobile store to trade in the 16 gb to receive the offer. Anyone know of any problems that I could run into doing this?

Sell them on craigslist. you will get way more money for them.
