Yeah, I am on JOD as well. If I want to keep JOD then I'll just not pre-order the next round and just wait it out. Given that it will be iPhone's 10th year Anniversary, it's going to be much worst than this.

Ah who am I kidding? I'd probably still pre-order

My order was placed on Friday by the Executive Team after I was told the only remedy for changing my credit card info was cancelling my initial order. So I guess they really are prioritizing, since my ship estimate was well into December.

Still not thrilled about another bungled iPhone launch though.

Congrats Trife! It was good hanging out with you last year and again this year. I too am sorely disappointed with T-Mobile and the way they keep screwing this up. After last year's mess, I was willing to give them a second chance figuring they would improve things. This year is worse and they didn't change a thing. That shows me that they don't give a crap. I will absolutely not go through them ever again to buy anything.

Congrats again on the iPhone and hopefully I'll see you in another pre-order thread next year. Cheers!
 
Hey everyone. Glad everyone is getting their charges and phones soon! Finally kylee! Haha.

Just letting everyone know the phone is awesome. It is blazing fast (I had 6 plus before and it doesn't even compare to the speed of this phone), the camera is awesome, the speaker sound is awesome, the haptic home button is sweet, and the matte black color for me anyways is very nice, it's sleek. I saw a jet black in store and while I was pretty jealous because it looks so awesome, it is a huge fingerprint magnet and small scratches were on it.

Overall, the phone is awesome everyone! And we almost all got them for free (or really cheap!!). It was good going through all of this with you all

So what's the actual story with the charging? I know in the earlier pages of this thread, people were disputing whether they happen in Alaska or Kentucky with most saying Louisville. So can it happen both ways or is it Alaska for the charges and then Louisville for the label?

I don't think anyone really knows. I'd be surprised if it was the Alaska stop. I imagine it's when they are scanning big lots of them in the T-Mobile warehouse in Kentucky.

Charging starts in Alaska and scans in Kentucky

Oh yeah next year is gonna be hell. haha yeah JOD is only worth having if you actually use it. So next year is guaranteed to be on the same boat.

I think it's safe to say I'm in for a bit of wait because of my shipment dates. But I wouldn't be surprised if people in the mid October range started getting charged by next week. One can only hope though.
