Once they ship to Alaska is when they start charging whether it be at take off or landing
Very cool! How did you get them on launch day? Probably because they weren't any shade of black or higher than 32GB I'm guessing...
Just out of curiosity, is there any chance for an after midnight charge, followed by a delivery that same day? Or is that just a wish upon a star?

Last update for me. Got it (MB 7+ 128GB) earlier tonight around 6. Didn't get a chance to open it till just now. Thought I heard hissing when I put the phone next to my ear during restore, but then I put the phone down and just tried putting my hand next to my ear. Heard the exact same "hiss".
I'm actually thinking I'll quit macrumors completely for a year. I want to be surprised and amazed about an Apple event again, but the past couple years keeping up with every single rumor every single day, come event time there's never anything new. Good luck to those who haven't gotten their phones yet. Be patient; believe me, the wait is worth it. See you all next year.

Haha Surprise Surprise. Sigh,,, based on the time your label was created, maybe yours will be scanned later tonight? If I remember correctly from the past few nights, some people had origin scans at 2am EST. You should def see something by tomorrow night by the latest if nothing scans later tonight.
Hey who knows, for us who are getting it within 11/01 - 11/30, maybe the hiss won't be present.

I'm almost positive that this thread will be at 800 pages by the time I have my phone. I mean, 11 days isn't that long of a wait, right?
My UPS driver always comes to my neighborhood after 6PM at night. Just changed my delivery to pick up at a UPS distribution center for will call. Waking up for a nice 30 min drive bright and early for that lol
Now just Hoping that it doesn't come with the sound problem.
