Congrats Trife! It was good hanging out with you last year and again this year. I too am sorely disappointed with T-Mobile and the way they keep screwing this up. After last year's mess, I was willing to give them a second chance figuring they would improve things. This year is worse and they didn't change a thing. That shows me that they don't give a crap. I will absolutely not go through them ever again to buy anything.

Congrats again on the iPhone and hopefully I'll see you in another pre-order thread next year. Cheers!

Thanks! Yeah man, I'm thinking I'll probably see you over in the Apple pre-order thread next year. Not sure I feel like having simply placing an order be a huge hassle again. Seriously, in the year of our lord 2016, why do I have to pick up a phone to buy something?!

I will give TMO credit for the responsiveness and effectiveness of their Executive Team though--they really are top notch. That said, nobody should have to resort to emailing the company president to get a straight answer about their botched pre-order!
 
Origin scan at 11:24pm and notice saying it would be delivered today between 2-6pm but this morning around 5:00 am I received a text saying it would be delivered tomorrow.

Based on what I'm reading so far, people who preordered on the 9th/10th are getting charged and having their phones shipped consistently. I'm also seeing that it's mostly JB/MB phones being moved..

Anyone order on 09/15, silver 128 gig getting any updates?

Same here. Not sure why there were so many issues with people having to wait so long after READY FOR UPS.

Does anyone know for sure if charges come from when planes get to Alaska or KY? There have been different things said but from how it's been it seems charges happen after Alaska and origin scans after they get to KY

Hey guys, got a great story for you.

Last Friday, Chase blocked T-Mobile from charging me claiming it was "fraud". I immediately responded to Chase and then called T-Mobile within minutes to make sure they could reprocess my card. Updated it and everything. I was told I'd lose my place in line, even though others told me this wasn't true.

Today, almost a week later...

T-Mobile simply cancelled my order.

Thanks T-Mobile!

Now I have to call them and raise hell. I could live with my order being set back. However, simply cancelling the order without so much as a text is absolutely ridiculous, iPhone or not. Why don't they call for immediate reprocessing?

Anyone had a situation where you got an email from TMO saying it shipped, TMO status update to shipped, but UPS still has "ready for pickup" but no origin scan, yet still got it next day? I'd mega like to have it today, but the lack of an origin scan seems to suggest no. Anyone gotten their phone before their origin scan?

Should also mention that TMO sent me an email about sending my devices back in, including the due date of 10/29 (suggests they expect delivery today, seems to me) and UPS showing estimated delivery date of today...

Here's hoping that the system is just slow on the entry of the origin scan.
